Democrats/Republicans did what???

Since I am in a ranting mood I am going to also mention how dumb I think it is when someone argues that Democrats or Republicans are worse. I think if we look in history we'll see some crap examples on each side of the fence. It drives me batty to hear someone poke at the Republicans even though I am a pretty hardcore leftist because our side is just as guilty.

I agree with you, KyoZero that both parties are equally guilty when it comes to taking lobbyist money and looking out for themselves.

I don't think some of the other persons from the small fringes would do any better. Once they got a fist full of that cold hard cash, their opinions start to waiver and their spines turn to jello.

Well it just comes down to corruption...how long does corruption take to set into any group? About as long as it takes to get power
