i was talking with my sister discussing the amount of drugs ingested
by the people of america. it astonishing. pills, inhalers, patches,
shots, of which, the side affects are worse than the symptoms.
a friend who is 46 takes 7 pills every single day.
the pharmaceutical companies want us on drugs for the rest of our
lives. it is all about money.

i am 56 and have refused to take anything excepting something for a
headache or hormone replacement or any strong pain killer and have
only taken antibiotic for a tooth ache. i even stopped taking my
heart medication (the heart condition was due to stress) when the
doctor wanted me to go through another series of tests i couldn't
afford in order to get a $4 prerscription. the doctor's nurse insisted
stopping this medication would have adverse consequences. i haven't
had to take this medication for over 2 years. doing just fine.
now our society is so dependent on meds.

"Some of the nation's worst drug dealers aren't peddling on the street corners, they're occupying corporate suites. Overdosed America reveals the greed and corruption that drive health care costs skyward and now threatens the public health.
Eric Schlosser www.overdosedamerica.com...

i am not advocating the book. so please don't even go there.

i have also come to realize some of the illnesses are created and placed into ads and into the minds of people who then seem to develop the symptons and increase the pockets of physicians, labs and drug companies.

should 3-year-olds children take antidepressants? www.beyondleftright.com...

another point i would like to address is i believe chemtrails cause respiratory problems, joint problems when we breath these chemicals and places us in physical need of drugs.

i know there are those that need certain medications. i had to take a pill to regulate my heart beat and stop the premature misfirings of the ventricular brought about by stress.

my point is there are so many people in the united states taking too many medications. why are we on so many medications. the drug companies want us on drugs for the rest of our lives. children on antidepressants and so forth.

i am sorry you have a heart problem and need medication. i am glad this medication is working for you. i'm not addressing real issues of serious conditions.

i am wondering why americans and so many must take drugs. do you not think the drug companies have something to do with the introduction of viruses and other health issues that would require us to ingest their drugs in order to make more money?

america is really drug addicks.

Yes I have often thought along your lines. I am 54 and I do not go to the doctor. Of course if I need to I will. I'm not crazy. But every illness I've ever had I've recovered from on my own. Now I do take the occasional Benadryl or aspirin as needed.
However most of the people I work with my age or younger take a number of medications on a regular basis and they shuffle around like people much older than they actually are. Whereas I am strong agile and fit.
And mood altering meds... don't even get me started. Prescription mood altering meds are much stronger than they need to be and in my opinion should only be used in the severist cases and primarily in a hospital setting. There's no excuse for the drugging of America being done by our medical community.

I too concur with this thread.

We do NOT need most if any, medications. Everything we need is provided by nature only....there's little money to be made (no manufacturing) or control to administer (if it's everywhere).

Our immune systems were born perfect upon birth (unless conceived by drug tainted parents. Knowingly or through medical vaccinations)

Indigenous people rarely have medical issues like cancers, diabetes, high cholesterol, ADD, bi-polar, depression, etc.

It's living in modern society that serves us: drugs....vaccinations......chemically laced foods.....fluoride......chemtrails etc that have depleted our bodies of our pure and perfect immune system! And one has to wonder if this is being done on purpose!
My thoughts are this. The word GOD is nothing more than the initials for Gold, Oil and Drugs. The three biggest commodities that run and rule this world. Pretty sad, ain't it?

my point exactly. just the other night i was running a low grade infection. all i took is ibuphrofen for a slight headache. most would begin a regime of antibiotics and pain killers, call in sick at work the next day and make a doctor's appointment.

the drug companies have socially conditioned americans to taking meds and the doctors are their vehicles keeping us on meds and making the drug companies richer.

for my age i am in good health and require almost nothing to maintain wellness. good common sense is missing in the minds of the american people.

have you noticed when you run into a friend or family when you ask how they are doing you get an hour discussion on the current illness they are suffering from and the medications they are on?

also, the men in this country seem to need a pill to help them in the act of intercourse. ha ha ha ha why is that? are our men impotent? if so, why? or are they exhausted from the act with so many on a daily basis and need a little help to go another round?

I have a real strong suspicion that THEY'RE (the Powers That Be are) slowly making both men and women, sterile so not to overpopulate their world.

Too many women are having trouble conceiving and difficulties with their menstrual cycles and way too many men, of ALL generations, are having trouble with erection.
Now.....don't you find this curious if not, coincidental?

hey, come to think about it, you are right. i will check further into the sterility thing.

ya know those vaccines given to our children at birth i believe causes most of the attention deficit disorders and autism and many other mind boggling illnesses.

but being sterile would you think it causes an erection problem?

I totally agree with the hypotheses of the OP that the American population
is overdosed on drugs.

I wrote a letter about 4 years ago to President Bush, asking him if maybe, just maybe, the Americans have a "Colossal Drug Problem".
That was not the only thing the letter was about but was part of it.

Of course I receieved no reply.

I am very disturbed about American Drug Dependancy.
I don"t know anyone who does not take some kind of drug, and most take several prescription drugs daily.

I live with constant pain. but only allow myself drug relief around once to twice a month.Where as others I know make it a daily ritual.

In my life, I want to know what is happening with my body, to keep all in check.
If I cover the pain, I don't know what is really going on with the problem that causes the pain.

i also am concerned about so many americans on drugs. i remember taking care of my husband's grandfather (age 87 at the time) who overdosed from taking the medications prescribed by 2 different doctors. he was taking so many all of them would not fit into the medicine cabinet.

every time one of my grandbabies get the slightest cold my daughter puts them on so many otc cold medicines plus takes her to the doctor who then puts her on antibiodics and more cold medicines.

that accounts for one of the reasons our immune system is screwed up.

did you really think bush would respond? did you even get a computer generated response? do you really think he give a hoot?

There is a thread on ATS titled something like "Men You Are Being Chemicly Castrated." Check it out. Men around the world are having more than erection trouble.

Something else that scientist have noted. . . The male chromosone is actually disapearing. More girls are being born than men. Also the male chromosone isn't developing as fully as in generations past.

Drugs and enviroments are being used against us.

I think one of the reaL issues here is the fact that there cheaper drugs that can do the same, but new drugs are pumped out simply because they are more profitable.
And the average Joe 'n' Jane use what the doctors tell them to take, and the doctors prescribe what they told to prescribe.
(Hence, I don't trust a doc's advice)

Here is an example: Avodart for benign prostate enlargement, well, saw palmetto and/or pumpkin seed oil do the same damn thing.
One drug is made in a lab, the others made in a plant cell. The patent drug is way more profitable.

The real bad drug here is $$$.

But of course we all know that.

I'm not sure what you're asking here but I'll take both angles (if I am assuming correctly what you're asking)

Men need erections to spawn sperm, no?

And many men, are having trouble with erections (which by the way, seems like a VERY new problem) and it's possibly due to earlier vaccinations or more recent pills like, blood pressure etc.

I am fifty years old. My generation, from looking back, had NO trouble conceiving/carrying children for the most part. We didn't have autistic children. We didn't have children with ADD (although I think that's just an excuse for bratty children). Hell, we didn't even have 'depressed' friends.

We're too quick to go for this elusive magic pill these days. The media is doing a fine job convincing the herd that they have a problem (especially late night television when people are most vulnerable to suggestion)

I know I am segueing off topic but I am so passionately pissed off at what I think I am witnessing and that's a bunch of people who are ALLOWING themselves to get sick, stay sick and pass on more sickness to future generations.

Listen, I am not innocent either (for I had my daughter vaccinated in the 80's but.......I DID protest it although, I gave in because I thought she needed to attend public school.....much to my chagrin)
And I did dabble in street drugs in the early 70's as well. Nothing bad just your occasional blotter or funny cigarette but I hardly knew anyone who had a vile of pills prescribed by a doctor .....and taken on a daily basis. It was almost unheard of and I was.....pretty happening (I mean, I wasn't a wallflower by any means)

We are screwing up our DNA & genes and..... we're allowing THEM to continue to tamper with it. I want to scream out to everyone to STOP taking medications....now!!!

(sorry for my rant but that felt good *smile)

Its because in the health care industry, Its only profitable if you keep having issues that need attention. Not if they cure it.

We need to reform the health care industry not just for insurance, but an complete overhaul in how the medical companies and staff get paid. They should be given bonuses for each person cured and extra money for Lack of people needing medical care.

I know that might sound unheard of to most, But when you pay someone based on how often your going to get sick, Your most likely always going to be sick, Somehow.

Its rewarding a Unfinished job, You wouldn't pay your plumber if he said " oh, I finished that one pipe, but im going to have to keep coming back to tighten that other pipe, prolly forever. Here I offer a Plan though, you can buy insurance and not pay the whole price yourself so it doesnt seem like alot.

I've long thought that chemtrails were financed by big pharmaceutical companies.

Good way to keep us all with allergies and low level irritations in which we run to the store and pick up remedies for.

I audit medical records in physicians offices and you can not imagine the number of drugs some people are on...30..40 many to be taken multiple times a day. They go to the doctor for every little thing, some 15-20 times a year. And they don't understand why they always feel bad. They don't get better, just worse. Get a new pill, adjust another one.

Physicians and patients have been thoroughly indoctrinated and I don't see any chance they are going to wake up. OP, you are so right, it is abuse.

OP, I agree completely. I use to trust everything the doctor said and take pills prescribed. Several years ago a doctor told me I needed colon surgery, I was 37. I agree, the doc screwed up, I almost died and had an ostomy bag for a while, two more surgeries to correct the issue and spent 6 months in bed. Come to find out I never had what the doctor said I did, so the surgery was unneeded.

When I recovered I was on 6 prescriptions and it seemed everytime I went to the doctor they wanted to schedule expensive and dangerous tests to look up in my colon. I figured my colon had suffered enough in didn't need barium and metal things shoved up into it on a regular basis.

I weaned down to only the HRT I'd been on since my hysterectomy at 30 and suddenly I had to go to two doctor visits a year to keep it. I finally lost my temper when I couldn't get the new prescription until I went through another series of expensive and painful tests on my colon.

The doctors never seemed to hear I didn't have the condition that caused the surgery, all they saw was that I had had so many surgeries, I was like a gold mine of testing to every doctor I saw.

I fired the doctor, after throwing quite a tantrum in the office and then weaned myself off HRT. No one I see once or twice a year should have so much control of my life and when they put us on the prescriptions, well to keep them, we have to jump through hoops.

With no prescriptions I feel better than I have in years and the only doctor I see is an acupuncturist to control the pain from all the freaking surgery I've undergone.

The general public are getting very weak in mind, spirit and now body.

There's been a conditioning (and goal) underway for some time now and people expect 'quick' everything! There's very little tolerance or endurance for anything anymore. It's all part of the agenda!
Got a cold? Take a shot.
Lousy mood? Take a pill.
Don't want monthly periods? Take a patch.
Can't conceive now? Take a shot.
Multitasking and can't concentrate? Take two pills
Blood pressure up? Pop a pill.
Can't sleep? Drop a pill.
In pain? Take a pill, patch or shot.
Can't cope? One more pill.
Scared of the insanity? Don't blame ya but.....here's a pill!!!!

I don't see anyway to fix this/these problem(s) except imploding this entire world/system somehow and just, start all over again.

i guess i am the only one here that does not totally agree. some people NEED to be on meds. i will use myself as an example. i take three and 1/2 pills per day and they keep me stable. if i did not have them i would be off my rocker.
they are psych meds and they work.

i will also say that about a year ago i had a prostate infection and i had to take cipro. i wanted to die man. it was the most miserable week of my life. i NEEDED the cipro.

not all meds are bad it's just that sometimes they are over prescribed
