Wouldn't it just be easier to simply ignore the thread if you think it is rubbish? I don't see what the point is in trying assassinate the character of the OP. I agree that the OP should back up his extraordinary comments with some proof if he wants to be taken seriously. But if you think it is nonsense simply ignore it...much easier than asking whether he will take responsibility for all that goes wrong if his information is incorrect.

One day somebody is going to give out the right information and something big is going to happen...hopefully by then we don't accuse them of crying wolf and suffer the consequences.

It is not a matter of "assassination" at all. There are many threads focused on subjects that I find hard to believe but I always say - I am here to learn new things and to talk to people with different opinions and views than my own. It was with that in mind that I posed my question - I didn't ask it to assassinate the OP or bury the thread. I asked because I think it is a pertinent question.

I have nothing against the OP (aside from the fact he decided that insulting people instead of answering questions was the way to go which is a conduct I disagree with) or his thread regardless of how much I disagree with him or the subject - the fact I'm asking questions already implies I'm open to discuss the subject instead of ignoring it Dark Ghost.

InTrueFiction, you put forth a valid argument there. I take back my comments and apologise for jumping the gun. Discussion should be encouraged and those making extraordinary claims should provide some type of proof or reasoning.

Interesting, that is when Timewave Zero starts to really jumping back up again. Right at around Oct. 25th the bottom is at its final low point and then it goes way up again until July 2010. SO there might be something to this Oct. 25th timeframe, hmmm!

No one should take any form of warning as a demand to be prepared. It is just a warning and everyone must make their own minds whether to heed, or not to heed such a warning.

If you are an adult you can make up your own mind whether or not you should be preparing, right?

BTW, I do agree that the OP went a little overboard with the insults, but you also went a little overboard on your own way.

This section of the forums is about predictions, and prophecies. If you don't like predictions you don't have to participate, or even read the posts about predictions.

The WEb Bot project was especially interesting at the beginning, when nobody had ever heard of it. Some of the predictions were eerily accurate.

But there is a fundamental problem with how Web Bot works.

Suppose some nutter on GLP (or some other fringe Forum) says the moon is going to turn to cheese on October 32, and we are all doomed.

This rumour spreads across the whole internet like wild fire, and the Web Bot keeps picking up more clues about cheese, the moon, and doom. So the original nonsense slowly morphs into a Web Bot prediction.

The Web Bot people are very aware of this problem, and so have sworn all their subscribers NOT TO DISCUSS web bot predictions on open internet Forums.

That is fine, but unfortunately the original poster CANNOT reveal any details of this supposed coming event, because it would completely undermine the basis of the Web Bot process.

So don't be too hard on the original poster.

I am not connected with Web Bot, and have never subscribed to any of their newsletters. But George Ure's Urban Survival site explains the whole process, and the basic problems of giving Web Bot data wide public exposure.

The OP is obviously upset, and probably with good reason.
And we are just going to have to accept that there is not going to be any specific revelation for us here at ATS.

Wow, I thought ATS were better than this. However, after reading the instant responses of people to this thread I got the feeling this is what happens to people who tell the truth. You are supposed to be an open society with discussions ranging from the crazy to the amazing and scary. But when you bite someones head off, that is unacceptable and all of you who are behaving like this are childish. Lets say at the very least he has read something that could come true just as anything could, and its seeded his mind and terrified him, should we not be trying to aid his mind and comfort him instead of telling him how wrong he is and that its stupid to think like that. I get so sick and tired of anyone who believes the webbots.....I have read all the Alta reports, yes, all of them. They are full of innacuracies and in my opinion their predictions are no more that probability and guessing. They say their constructs give them accuracy to what is it about 18 months into the future? with a degree of accuracy and on an on and on into the future with less accuracy. They have been predicting great calamities for 10 years now that have not happened anywhere near the scale and do not give defined predictions with any accuracy. Read all the reports and only then respond to me to refute what is posted here, As a couple of examples they predicted all these things by the end of this "summer of hell" that did not happen. Major costal event, collapse of the dollar, stock market failure or trading at 2600 pts, major climatic changes for America leading toward a global economic collapse and chaos......all by this summer....Summer is over! It never happened. In conclusion go to you tube and listen to their predictions from last year or any old archived radio interview write down all of their predictions, were they accurate yes or no? if you do this you can only come to one logical conclusion. Oh I forgot two things.... I predict nothing will happen on the 25th and you wasted your 10 dollars.
