Thank you OP for giving the information that I think we all needed/were hoping for in order to make a personal decision on how much credibility we can give to the warning.

There isn't a need for insults or name-calling from anyone. OP, you offered a warning but didn't initially provide information to back it up. It's reasonable for people to ask you to give more information and not something that you should take offense to. You also shouldn't take peoples skepticism personally. It is a good thing that we have people with different beliefs on this site and that we can have healthy debates on topics. ATS wouldn't be what it is if we all agreed on everything - and if we all took the dire warnings posted in the past at face value, ATS may not exist at all because we all would have sold all of our possessions and would be living in the most remote regions in the world!

I still am hoping to hear your age and hear the webbot predictions that you found out about that ultimately changed your life for the worse. I am not going to insult you or attack your contributions so please don't avoid sharing your experiences out of fear that you will be made fun of.

I hope the OP doesn't take offense at the fact that everyone on this site has been inundated with so much economic collapse-2012-NWO-Swine Flu 12 monkeys death-martial law warnings that we're a little desensitized to the point where proof is needed to take such warnings seriously. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that for good or bad we're on the cusp of some major world-changing events in some form or fashion, but your assessment that if we took all "dire" warnings seriously we'd be living in the farthest, most remote parts of the world is right on. Hope he/she wasn't scared off by the skeptics, but skepticism is what's needed in order not to drive one's self bats%$t crazy with panic over these kinds of things...

Lots of things have been predicted year after year and whilst web bott can sound convincing and have some hits in a round about way i wouldnt stake my life on it.

I feel the same way. I used to hang on Clif's words until I realized he changes his tune constantly. I've even heard him state certain things as facts that are completely untrue. Either way, for $10 I'm sure the Alta reports are entertaining.

I think the OP had the best intentions in mind.

Sometime around October 25, Israel will bomb reactors in Iran. They will use bunker busters, but the prediction is that something will go horribly wrong, resulting in world wide catastrophe. Whether is wil be radioactive contamination, or extreme weather, I have no way of knowing. There was something about the winds circling the earth nine times. Make of that what you will.
I'm keeping my eyes and ears open during October and November. And I'm going to be real restless during December, if nothing happens before then.
Look at world events, listen Israel's prime minister and Iran's president, as well as Obama, and you will see that events are coming to a head.
I would stock up now. If your not already stocked up! And if you are, a little more water wouldn't hurt, as well as a a few bags of jerky. And anything else you think you might need.

I dont go by dates, but a will agree that events seem to be comming to a head and that Iran will be the centre of events shortly that could result in a rather nasty situation. This game has been going on for years!

[moreThe events of the past week have really caused me to throw the radar into high gear. The announcement by Obama of a previously unknown reactor, (an anouncement made on a Friday, in order to give the media time to ignore it) plus threats of "sanctions" is starting to make me antsy.
I don't believe Israel will wait for Iran to allow inspectors in, nor trust that sanctions will work. That area of the world is a powderkeg, with a lit fuse that is getting shorter all the time.
That's one of the reasons me and mine are stoking up. If we have time, we'll will get out of here, and head for the hills.

Aint that the truth. I think most ATS members have some sort of grip on whats about to happen soon and i think its a good idea that some (like yourself) have stocked up on suplies.
