It's all good man
Well not the sending foreign aid to a lunatic dictator and his sons... that I think is reprehensible and a trifle crazy in it's own right.

For anyone interested, here is a working link to the original story. I couldn't get the one in the OP to work for me and had to go to the Hannity link to get to it.

Thanks for the link.

It is taxpayer money.

It's part of a $2.5M aide package that Obama has authorized, in conjunction with Hillary Clinton, to be sent to Libya.

The $400K allotment comes out of that.

So. no -- it's not his personal money!

Found a pdf file that states they want to give 2.5 million in economic support for 2010. It doesn't go into detail. Its from Office of the Director of U.S. Foreign Assistance.

The above pdf seems to show the money for Libya is for counter terrorism efforts.

It terms of domestic policy I think Obama is the worst president in Human History

Foreign Policy?

400,000 to have Quadaffi screaming us praises... not a bad idea.

I've never thought we much needed to give a damn what the rest of the world does or how they live beyond our borders and closest allies.

Cold wars, wars with Islam...

Quadaffi has changed his tune and it's been a long long time since he was a young and angry man. Better friends than enemies.

The only policies I care about in regards to foreign powers, is opening OUR doors to them or not... I don;t care if Quadaffi becomes the King of Africa and makes ita giant Socialist Islamo fascist pile of turd so long as we don't let them move to America or alter our personal policy.

With that said when Obama DOES do that he should be impeached and we know already he's an idiot that way siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh

But in general a position of Peace and an non interference into what other states do is a good one... IF he wasn't changing things Here...

This is the pdf for 2008 under Bush which was double what Obama has sent but yes this one is part of Bush Administrations dating back to 2003 when Libya decided to give up wmds.

Several senators are pressing the Bush administration to demand action from Gadhafi on unresolved compensation for the Lockerbie bombing. They also want the administration to push for a complete Libyan accounting for a 1986 Berlin disco bombing that killed two U.S. troops.

Unless the cases are settled, the senators said Congress may balk at State Department requests for money for a new U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, aid for Libya and Senate confirmation of the new ambassador.

"Until Libya fully compensates the Pan Am families, no U.S. ambassador should set foot in Tripoli," said Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. "We're serious about improving relations, but Libya needs to show that it is, too. Paying off this long-overdue debt would be a start."

Limbaugh ignores millions to Libya under Bush, attacks Obama for aid

Bush requested millions in aid to Libya:

"Foreign assistance to Libya will initially be targeted to the Peace and Security objective in order to graduate Libya from a Restrictive country to a Developing country. Assistance in this objective will be complemented by a robust International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) and other exchanges as well as the inclusion of Libyan citizens in regional initiatives that can build a democratic cadre to advance internal reforms."

This makes no sense if true.... Why give foreign aid to a oil rich country with one of the highest GDP's in Africa???

I think we can all learn a lesson from this President.

Never elect a man with loyalties to any country beside your own. He'll just screw you over and bad mouth your country to the world. Not to mention giving away tax dollars to foreign charities that do not support or reflect the ideals of the majority of Americans.

Yeah, we made some mistakes but the United States has done amazing good in the past also. I never hear Nobama speaking about that.
