Last year, Google has decided to use its funds and influence to help change the world. It launched a competition to regroup the best ideas and reward generously the winner.
Now is the time to vote! This fits well in ATS because there are quite a few ideas on improving social life and goverment transparency. I personally believe we should all vote for the ideas that will open the sheeple eyes!

With all due respect--and it seems that your intentions are just--what on God's green Earth makes you think that a massively powerful corporate entity such as google is really doing anything as noble as to "change the world" for the good?

Well isn't part of their corporate mantra to "do no evil?"

So if they can't do evil, then what's left? maybe good? (by a process of elimination, just a guess).

Anyway it sounds like good PR regardless of how sincere they are. And from what little I know about the guys in charge, they might just be sincere.
