Interesting quotes.
I could not even begin to guess numbers and will not try, but here is the info I received yesterday that I thought I'd share. A good friend of mine
is an ER nurse in the Valley, in Los Angeles. Needless to say she sees what is really going on in our city. I asked nonchalantly how's the swine
flu is going in her hospital, since 6 weeks ago it was rather a non-issue to her. Well, right away she said "Oh, it's here and it's bad!" She
said the hospital has been flooded in the last few weeks with swine flu and 3 people in their 20's have died in her hospital. She said that one of
the victim's lungs were actually liquified. She said most people are relatively fine and just being sent home with tamiflu, but that it is a harsh
flu. She said they are testing most poeple and sending it to the labs for verification, but as she put it "If it walks like a duck and talks like a
duck..." I'll tell you, here in L.A. we are not getting any details on local swine flu cases in the news, is that not a bit weird? There should be
reporters at the ER doors! Just think it's weird that the details are not being reported. My guess is that if the people find out that many are
already getting the flu and surviving when the vaccine is not here yet, then they will feel why bother. Any guesses?
