I was wondering how do you find peace? Simple prayer? Chanting? Meditation? Spells?

i found peace in paganism because i live in a world where paganism makes the laws and all societys' rules ...

pagan = the almighty $

pagan = money in the bank

pagan = $

pay & gain
pa & gan = pagan

welcome to a reality where the pagans already won!

That's funny...I started a thread about how my fellow Pagans find peace and tranquility...not sure how that got confused with fighting...so let's do what some Christians here do...let me now ask that Pagans only post here so we can discuss our spirituality. Christians have that honor (or attempt to have that honor) in any threads.

PS...if there is a fight brewing...I didn't bring it...hence why I am not responding the the other post above you

someone came into your room looking for a fight with that which they think is different or wrong.

you have just as much right to be here as any of us

i subscribe to many faiths, and i find compliance with their beliefs, where their logic, facts, and truths are. pagans included.
pagans have logic
pagans have facts
pagans have truths
who am i to call all pagans liars?

just because someone else labels me this or that,
doesn't mean i don't have a deep seeded reverence for you, and your right to be who you choose to be.

who has the right to make you the extention of their understanding, their will?

Well that is exactly what you want obviously. This thread is no different than asking what your favorite thing to do it. Its just directed towards a certain group. What if the OP asked what do Christians do for peace?

To the OP I dont really consider myself Pagan but I do follow the spiritual side of things more. I myself listen to music or meditate. It is very relaxing. I also enjoy sitting outside and watching the water or the sky esp at night. That is very peaceful.

Exactly!! I had no idea how this would have been considered a fight...anywho

Hey, Jesus is welcome in my circle. He would never have condoned the burning times. If his followers in the dark ages had actually followed his example the burning times would never had happened.

Forgiveness brings happiness. Forgive everyone and forgive yourself and you are free. Free from self hate, doubt, and fear.

I am most happy when I am creating something. If it is some music, a video, some art work, or just making up a great joke.

I think people get stuck and unfulfilled when they do not access their creative nature. If you want to relax just be yourself and create from your heart. The meditation of creative focus is the most fulfilling kind.

Dancing and singing is still creative nature too so that works as well.

I find peace in 3 ways depending on the circumstances.

Music
Exercising
Getting out to the country

I go outside and walk toward a garden where I live. It is very beautiful and I can meditate when I need to.

I only get riled up when I discuss politics with my family.

Conservatives vs one Progressive is not fun. Guess which one I am.

I just bought a set of alpha brainwave meditation CD's. No religion or pirituality to it but my goddess they work well. I found myself getting all sorts of hidden emotions out

I meditate everyday.
I mainly enjoy staying home, cooking, cleaning, taking care of my child and my animals, my garden and my home.

Nurturing others, nurtures my pagan soul.

I call on Jesus too - I don't understand why having a god of compassion is so taboo to some pagans. Jesus was a witch.

I heard Selena Fox say that once, and it struck me as true.

She's got to be a sister soul of mine.

I don't recall saying it was taboo...in fact I believe in your God, just not the same way

So many Christians here have a boat load of Christian only threads so I tried this for pagans
