Has anyone actually skipped town on account of 2012?

Topic started on 25-9-2009 @ 11:15 AM by fattyp

I know that a lot of people can get really freaked out when they get consumed with the 2012 phenomenon but do any of you actually know anyone... or are there any famous cases of individuals and/or groups who've moved out to the boonies to escape the chaos when 2012 rolls around? Somebody's gotta have a 2012 bunker!

Not yet, but the bags are close to being packed and I have plans to move. But they don't plan to start entry into the DUMBs until mid 2011, so I still have some time lefto n the surface before SHTF

Nope not yet, but, I wouldn't hesitate to do so if I thought for one second that staying put was detrimental to our welfare.

Personally, I do believe that something major and life event altering will occur in the decades 2000 to 2020. The year 2012 is nearly in the middle of it.

Something awful and wicked this way comes, for you can just feel it all around you. The whole world is prickling and bristling in agitation.

Right now, the rear end of the cat in the bag is being rubbed with kerosene, and it is about to go nuts...get ready for it!

No. It is 2009. Doom that is projected too far into the future is not only boring but lame. I want my doom super-uber fresh, like, "next week we are all going to die!" That kind of stuff.

Skipping town is old hat. Passe'. Pish-posh.

If you really want to be safe from the calamities of 2012, then find some way to skip Earth.

Well we did....about 3 years ago. Not entirely for the 2012 thing, but it was part of it, and more important than we realised at the time. We have a small croft with half an acre, a seed bank to die for, although not too much is planted yet, and are building a chicken house. We have fruit trees, salmon in the river half a mile away, and a private water supply, all about 10 miles from the nearest main road. I would still like to be even higher above sea level than we are at 500 feet, and more remote, but that might happen....I dunno. The sea level thing worries me most for some reason. And I stock pile...not too much yet, but I'm working on it.

If someone had told me three years ago that I would be even discussing this, I would have laughed at them so hard....I had no idea. Events moved in such a way to get us here as my own realisations developed about what we might be facing, and the timing was just perfect. I too feel the coming shift, which will be incredible for us. I also suspect that despite all the prophecies and doom mongers, it will arrive in a way that we cannot forsee or expect, at a time when we're completely off guard. That's what my instincts tell me anyway.

My wife and I have something in the works, but to be honest, the next few months may pale in comparison to 2012.

Just my humble, wee, little opinion. . .

Where will you be on December 21 2012?

Sounds like a perfect day for this guy to make an appearance on worldwide television under one signal: what else could digital transition be for?

World Teacher

"A. The Aquarian energies started to enter our solar system in 1675, but one could say the Aquarian Age will start with Maitreya’s Declaration of His identity and true status on the Day of Declaration which I personally hope and expect to be well before 2013, which date I expect is arrived at from the Mayan Calendar which ends in 2012. "

Say hello to the Anti-Christ and when ET Lands it's merely the fallen angels and the Nephilim making a comeback. They will act like saviors to mankind but remember the Book of Enoch and the Rebellion on Mount Hermon. They ARE NOT THE GOOD GUYS!!!

The good thing is that the return of Yahushua is not far off after this all starts, which will be the most amazing event in all of history. Look at the word history closer. It says something.

Do you honestly think if this myth actually were to transpire it would be a localized event?

It will effect the whole world if it happens in some way.

I did about 4 1/2 years ago out of instinct and because i kept having dreams telling me to go, go, go!

I had never heard of any 2012 stuff though....just felt the cities were not good, and being isolated where i could grow food, and most others grow their food was the smartes for me and the munchkin.

I already live in a fairly remote area (love texas), but the only relocation planning I have done is in the event of global flooding, I know which way to go, and how far...

I've sometimes wondered why no one has developed a scheme to make money off of the 2012 event. Something like offering $1000 to people now who believe something momentous will happen in 2012 in exchange for having the deeds to their houses revert to the issuer of the $1000 on January 1 2013.

Maybe you wont do anything... but I have devised a mental plan "What To Do IF".

Just make a plain ahead in your mind like:
- escape route (avoid common highways) without any possible communication devices like cellphones/phone.
- stopping points (like if SHTF you and your family/buds should meet in spot X). In this aspect I imagined that you must have multiple meeting points each one with time limit like before you move to next location. I will stay in spot A for x hours after the event. after that you can meet at spot B after another y hours... the next point is C and so on. You tell them the look for a sign (like your initial name wrote in a specific rock or other place and the time you were there: e.g. JC 25/set) to know if someone have visited the meeting point before you get there.

I like to play in my mind these scenarios for fun. You can get really great ideas to a possible escape plan.

i think all the false flags about about doom and gloom and all the chicken little's running around have turned the paranoid population slightly complacent. IF something goes down in 2012 (which i hope SOMETHING does happen but i know NOTHING will) most people will be like me and not be ready only because we have been disappointed so many times over. nothing too drastic just a shake up enough to wake the sheep up thats all i want. i dont want fire and brimstone but maybe a nice 3 months of return to dark ages. total wiping of banking details. no digital records of any sort. start from scratch. i could live with that.... nah just messing

I have skipped town, I still work in the city but now I live in the mountians.
laugh if you want but ive been researching this for 2 years and I can most certianly tell you that something will happen on a devestating level... it wont be some instantanous event but more of a gradual one.

Best to just sit back, spark it up, and have mojitos
