3 day weekends

islam's holy day is friday
jewish holy day is saterday
christian's holy day is sunday

if everyone got along, maybe we would only have to work and go to school 4 days a week.

and then we could have 3 day weekends

just a thought

Personally I dont need weekends or any special day off. If I want to take off I do.

i'm in the same boat as you.
i don't have to work
retirement and dissability from u.s. air force

but, this isn't to say i don't work or do stuff

but i look around at all the people i know ...
i look at how hard things are
i look at how much they are doing

i think everyone has already done more than enough
i think everyone deserves at least 3 days off a week, at least

maybe i need to find more friends that are lazy

Actually, I think Judaism is the only religion that actually NEEDS to have their day off (or certain christians, depending on what they believe, but if I'm not mistaken, most christians believe Jesus sorta did away with the Sabbath).


But it is testament to how much control society has over man that on the occasional day that (because of some holiday on friday or monday,) I have a three day weekend, and I'm so damned happy! Not even realising that this bondage of "work" all my own doing.

i do have a diverse character, it helps

humor certainly helps, even in the gravest of situations something funny can be found ...

look at all our religions?
god knows what god is doing,
even when we don't know what we are doing

i'll inject more humor into my contributions here
because when trying to wrap our minds around everything (literally), which is what this entire religion, faith, and theology is all about.
