This statement about the mercury levels is ringing bells for me.
When the H1N1 vaccine was announced in Australia it was stated that

"the vaccine was not to be given to children under 10yrs".

When I was hearing this flu was targeting the young and the old

Secretary of Health Mary Selecky is temporarily suspending Washingtons limit on the amount of mercury (thimerosal) allowed in H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine given to pregnant women and children under three.

So the mercury levels in the vaccine I will assume is the reason for the caution for under 10yr old's

Zelong.
