As to the Marfa lights, we have the same of type of phenomena here in Alaska. The lights are seen during winter time on the snow machine trails between the villages. I haven't seen them myself, but my dad and sister has quite a few times. They were described as being able to copy snow machine lights and the airplanes lights. (the bush airplanes lights)

I dont know if they are Marfa lights/ghost lights or UFOs that we see here.
