Ok....just looked at it again. I'm calling BS on military....the one guy doesn't have his pants bloused. The camo is different for more than one of them. The guy on the far side is wearing a baseball cap, the guy that gets out of the front seat almost has his sleeves rolled like a marine, but not done well enough to be the real thing. These guys were TRYING to look like military, but they sucked at it...if they WERE current military, which I highly doubt at this point, they would have had to have been from a couple different branches...why no covers, or headgear?

I think they were purposely trying to LOOK like military.

This film certainly looks fake to me. (i.e. staged, set-up, contrived)

Looks like more contrived propaganda to get people excited to revolt.

Like above poster said...all the camo is different and the "military" (NOT) looks sloppy.

I see the original post has been edited with another video that is supposed to appear more realistic.

Even the second video does not feel right.

Why do they not have an immediate car to place the protester like the first video? The tactics are totally different in each film, as are the players.

Not military. The Army no longer allows rolling of the sleeves and they dropped the multicam project.

If it's not fake (doubtful) then it's law enforcement.

It's not like these kinds of things cannot happen.

I think we should just keep an open mind to what we've seen and wait before yelling 'fake' or 'OMFG KIDNAPPING!!'


Also, if it was fake, what are the riot police doing in the video? idly watching and moving out of the way as they drive off.

IF it is real, and I am not 100% sure that it was not staged, then I call mafia or extremist group. This is not a military faction, that much is sure from KSPs observations (which I also noted).

I see alot of talk about the BDU's the guys were wearing... but, if you stop the vid at 25 seconds, you can clearly see 2 other "security" people there.

One has a tactical helmet on.. and the other is wearing a gas mask and holding what appears to be a shotgun.

If it is staged.. they have massive cojones for brandishing a firearm in that atmosphere.

I am calling legit, and the kid probably threw something..

Well if it's not real, it's sure a good show, they even got the Riot cops to allow them to go through after what appeared to be an in the open snatch and grab.

Also, if you go to the person who uploaded it's youtube, there is a video of the kid in black shirt, red bandana, black backpack who has his hands up in the air being arrested by 4 riot cops.

I say real, but not regular army, probably private contractors/alphabet soup goons.

This is either a fake or a very bad prank that could cause a lot of problems.

One thing you guys should know is that the army is all about looking the same or dress right dress.

All three wore a differant uniform and two of the uniforms we don't even wear anymore. Look again, they wore BDUs, ACUs and DCUs.
