Yeah both G20 channels are broadcasting the same frequency because FEMA forgot to supply extra batteries for their radios.

I have tried to make it clear that this isn't what I mean.
No, they aren't saying that YOU are specifically an anarchist that needs to be rounded up.
I am saying that they are two steps behind the internet culture.
That is all.
I find it sorta' comical really. Idiots don't realize that when they are getting their "intel" from the internet on TWITTER that there is a very real chance that their "target" is using the same thing.

Generally morse code like that is the station ID. The repeaters send it out, I doubt it's the police sending morse code to hide a message.

Also, if you hear a fleeting set of bleeps at various tones, (similar to morse, but faster and non repeating) it's a cell call, which is used to get the attention of radios set to receive that code.

When I used to be on UHF here, we used it to alert people we knew, who had programmed their sets to listen for our cell calls.

What was fun at the time, I used to know the master call, and had it programmed into my PC, so I could hold the mic up to the speaker, broadcast the call and everyone's radios would start beeping for them.

hehe, ahh those were the days.. Back when UHF in Perth was semi-decent, before the morons got a hold of it.

The morse code thing was explained a few pages back.
It is a sticky-button response from the cop to the dispatch.

Pittsburg still uses UHF police radios? They should be on the p-25 system, which can be encrypted.
