Cops close in on G-20

Authorities have stepped in to block hundreds of G-20 Resistance Project protesters who started their march in Lawrenceville's Arsenal Park Thursday afternoon.

Fog cloaked the Pittsburgh skyline as the G-20 global summit was welcomed to town by calm, relatively empty downtown streets Thursday morning, but things turned around as the protesters gathered and began marching at about 3 p.m.

G-20 March Turns Chaotic On Pittsburgh Streets

An unpermitted march at the Group of 20 summit in Pittsburgh has turned chaotic, with protesters rolling trash bins toward police and officers firing tear gas in return.

They now have microwave weapons and LRADS deployed... WTF?!

They have the citizens boxed in and they are about to torture them with the sound weapon!

Wow, they pushed them a long ways from downtown from the looks of things. I'm not super familliar with Pittsburgh, but I do know enough about the city to know that video isn't close to "dahntahn."

It's 30 blocks from downtown. These guys are film makers, not protesters. I'm glued to the stream, it is a real eye opener! Even the police dogs are wearing gas masks.

I thought i did too.

I know I heard several calls of Police Surrounded by Protesters, calling for backup.

Also, Cars flipped over barriers seems to be a common one...Man I wish there was video right now.
