Elementary School Students Reportedly Taught Songs Praising President Obama

The video shows nearly 20 young children taught a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again.

The video identifies the kids as students at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, N.J., with taping taking place last June.

The author of the full lyrics is unknown, but a woman -- possibly a teacher -- can be heard in the beginning of the video correcting and helping a student who has forgotten the words.

The office of the superintendent of Burlington Township School District did not provide comment or confirmation to FOXNews.com that the songs were recorded at B. Bernice Young Elementary when contacted by phone Thursday.

What's with these people?

Few things are as despicable as corrupting the mind of an innocent child. Most children will obey wahtever their teachers say, and ususally it is "study, work, raise your hand" but, what is being done here is just...

I bet their parents will be in for quite a suprise come recital day.

Fun fact:
The Pledge of Allegiance was written by Francis Bellamy, who was a Christian Socialist. A real Socialist, not like the ones Glenn Beck talks about.
Bellamy also invented the Bellamy Salute for the pledge, which was later used by the Nazi party. After the Nazis nabbed the salute, we switched to hand-over-heart.

Man, you guys really get your millage out of that video. I've seen it pop up many times over the years. Always followed with left wing outrage.

On the other hand, this is like the 5th video of this kind to come out in 9 months. So, I wouldn't say its comparable. Its also being treated as acceptable, where as the Bush video was treated (rightly) like a disgusting demonstration of indoctrination.

C'mon Grover, you can do better than just playing "shoot the messenger".

What are your thoughts on if this was actually done? You would have been thrilled to have your kids being taught pro-Busgh songs during the previous administration.

I've posted this before, but I actually had to deal with crap like this when my kid was in middle school. An art teacher wanted the class to make posters out of words and demonstrated by saying he would use the words "Bush" and "liar". Then an English teach decided that she (for some reason) needed to explain the political spectrum to her class by saying the democrats were on one side with nice parties like the greens, while the Republicans were on the other side along with the skin heads and the nazis.

We basically got the art teach fired at the end of the year and the English teacher was censured. People, no matter what your political affiliation is, you have to speak out against any politics being taught to kids because at that young age, they are too intimidated by teachers and other adults to be able to question what they are told (probably the reason liberals are doing this).

Most of your radical socialist left wingers are college teachers.

What does Angela Davis do now. College professor. Bill Ayers is a college professor. All levels of education from teachers to administration and board members are heavily infiltrated with socialists.

The Marxist/socialist left depends on you ignorant fools to extend their agenda.

While that video is disturbing, it is different. These kids are in the public schools. The kids praying to Bush? They are in a private camp their parents sent them to be brainwashed.

The difference? Public school is main stream, and praising a leader should never be taught.

While I agree that this is bad also, there is a distinct difference between this video and the OP. This is clearly a private church camp/function, meaning that their mindless parents consented to this. The video in the OP is of children in the public school system. More than likely, the parents are not even aware that these "teachers" are brainwashing their children into Obama loving goons. Of course it is also their parents faults for relying on the government to teach their children.

It would have been easier if they had used this song and changed it to fit Obama.

Zombification happens on both sides. Though, I agree it's not good that it has moved into public schools. Maybe we shouldn't even teach our kids history - there are those who believe Lincoln shouldn't have freed the slaves.

Please remember that these sort of things are not endorsed or funded by anyone in the Obama administration. Going after Obama about this stuff would be like invading Iraq after some Saudis attacked us.

Sure, it's creepy watching these kids do this, but this is not a federally sponsored indoctrination program. It's people expressing their admiration for a man who has accomplished what no other African American ever has. Him winning the election was a pretty big deal to some people.

If you want to figure out the reason why this video was made and go after the people who produced it, great. Using it to bash Obama & co. is just silly and irrelevant.

I would call the people named here many things, but, intellectual wouldn't be one of the terms that I would use.
