I have done some reading on pole shifts. And yes they have found lava that have Iron structures that point to the south instead of to the North. This finding was done 50 years ago from Lava samples gathered from Hawaii. But this finding or knowledge was not actually accepted until now.

What this lava basically told us is that the magnetic structures in Iron pointed to the south some 780 000 years ago. To day Magnetic structures in Iron point to the North. As the magnetic current flows from magnetic south to magnetic north. This finding would indicate that there was at least one pole shift before. Well actually they found more samples that indicate that a pole shift has occurred every 200 000 years or so.

From old pottery they have been able to measure the strength and direction of the magnetic current at the time the pottery was made from clay. As with Lave the iron elements within the Clay would line up with the present magnetic current N and S as it cooled down. This is also the case with Iron owens to day. The Iron that is molded has its magnetic structures pointing to the magnetic current N and S as it cools down.

By these studies they have found it quite safe to say that Earths magnetic current has changed directions in the past. The current has made a 180 degree change of direction.

I am well aware of how the mayans had said the world had been destroyed several times once by fire, and other times by water.

See we will never truely understand why the poles move in relation to the core of the earth or how the sun is able to effect the direction of how the core of the earth moves.

But when this happens the core changes direction gradually causing the mantle to also change direction causing earthquakes and other geographic disasters. (see samoa and nations that are currently being effected around the ring of fire)

Gradually this change will also mess around with seasons an example is El Nino.

But what will happen?

and is this permanent?

Well I cant answer that question in regards to permanence or if this will be a pole shift which I strongly beleive no one can predict, but as for a gradual scrambling of the poles which is currently underway I can tell you straight up that this is happening. As for a pole shift it is gradual and not some instantaneous event.

What will happen?

At first there will be more airliner disasters than normal (which we have already seen) caused by navigational failures which cannot be explained and other problems regarding that will happen. There have been multiple incidents of this so far and I suggest just turning the television on and I guarantee hands down that you will at least see a few coming up.

in relation to Samoa and the Tsunami... the south pacific Tsunami watch was deliberately cancelled moments after the earthquake for what reason I would not be able to guess fully.

and venus does get closer from memory and shine brighter?....

What I am saying is that venus will get closer than usual its not going to be as big as the sun, but it will be closer than usual. The effects would be similar to what the moon does with the tides as its GRAVITATIONAL PULL on the tides.

To address your point what you are describing is the horned appearance, it is an effect similar to the northern lights dancing in the sky on earth, but in this case the solar winds are stronger, and with the constant winds of venus's clouds in combination with an electromagnetic event such as the northern lights it gives a horned appearance.

No I do not beleive this poses a threat to humanity, BUT, who is to say that the h1n1 virus originated from earth? it's appearance during these events which coincide with the transit of venus and the solar storm do make it suspicious. But we can only speculate.

If a massive amount of venus's atmosphere was blown into our own in a strong concentration of sulfuric acid was to become present in our own atmosphere then yes, but there is a million to one chance of that happening.

It would also need to be VERY close, and it would be like trying to shoot a pin head with a cannon.

But your concerns are valid as it is a scientific question.
