If your moving a camera to the right while recording jets flying overhead, the jets may be moving at 400mph but the camera is not due to the distance between the camera and the jets. In the same way if your in a car the objects closest to you appear to be moving by faster than those furthest from you.

So yeah, a bug could have flown past the camera while it was following the jets, since a bug definitely flies faster than most people would be moving their cameras.
