I followed the video link to Youtube to see who the original poster was.

So I checked out madmod72's profile and he has some interesting vids from recent European air shows that may be worth a look...

I suspect that some of the vets of ATS may have input on his credibility

The following video released on September 21st 2009 was taken at a military air show and depicts a UFO within the footage that clearly shows its superiority in speed and maneuverability.

Usually I don't post about YouTube videos with all the fake ones out there, but at about 36 seconds into this one you can clearly see something dark just zoom past the jets.

Whatever it was, it makes the jets look really, REALLY slow!
UFO at airshow

It took some doing but I was able to freeze the "UFO" a few times and it's just a black, shapeless blob that is probably a shapeless blob because it's high speed doesn't allow it to "write" a shape on the video which may have been due to the possibly slow speed of the camcorder whose operator was not expecting anything unusual so he/she didn't ramp up the shutter speed to at least 10 thousands of a second.

Very interesting video.

IMO this neither bug nor rock - the line is too straight I think. If it was a rock wouldn't their be at least a little bit of arching? And I can't recall having seen a flying bug to go in a straight line.

But who knows?

You need to see a high-flying, ultra-fast "rod" which the FBI once thought was a missile!

Ah the typical skeptic response! It's a bee! It's a rock! Sure it is.

My first comment was that I had to replay the video constantly from 32 seconds on to freeze a frame of the object. Next time I'll watch a video all the way through as long as it's not longer than this one. I do appreciate the freeze frames.

It doesn't look like any of the insects mentioned as there is no evidence of wings and not even an insect close to the lens can move that fast. This is not a joke but I vote for the object being a rod. They're ultra-fast and accelerate going up and a frame or two will show a whiteness around the body, as this object does, which I've learned is the rod doing its thing. I once videotaped off the TV a similar object also accelerating up and just before it went out of frame out came the wings.

What bothered me about the presentation was at the beginning, the religious proselytizing: GOD VS DARK THE BEGIN

for those who are interested in a better view or slow motion of what is in the vid, I suggest going to www.youtube.com...

As I mentioned before, the OP has used a clip of his..

Typical "believer" response...

"look, a black dot flying across the view. IT'S ANANUKI, THE MAGIC BANANA!"...

Do you honestly believe that if a spaceship, or any other sort of advanced technology flew above a bunch of people, humiliating modern aircraft, that nobody would look?

Did you notice that? No public response, whatsoever? Even the guy who taped it didn't stop filming the aircraft.

...maybe, nobody payed attetion to the object, because it was natural... A bird, a insect (if closer to the camera), whatever...

This reminds me of those ghost pictures... That when people take them, they don't see anything, but after, they can find all sorts of BS on a single picture.

I'm not condescing your effort for digging this up and posting it. I stand by the continuos search for matterial and truth... I just didn't enjoy reading that feedback directed to people who are trying to help.

2 cents.

I have subscribed to madmod72's youtube profile for awhile;
he uploads nothing but fake videos;
i dont know why he does it, misinformation maybe....
and he always puts scary music and images before the clips to try to make it look spooky and real or something

I'm going to presume it's an insect of some sort.

More than likely the "insect"(speculation of course) was relatively close to the lens of the camera. When something is closer it takes less "time" to effectively move into and out of the picture. Through videos like this it's really difficult to get good depth perception. It does seem, to me anyways, that this "object", whatever it is, was indeed closer to the camera than the jets and therefore it seems to move "faster".

Exactly my thoughts. Its flying to strait to be a bug and it's definately not a bird. It looks like it's cruzing in a dead strait and Seems pretty close to the jets in distance. I would think that if it were somethin really close to the camera, it would have been very blury.

thanks DJ... I had missed your earlier post regarding madmod's cred. I knew that within the ATS world someone would have some insight on him/her.

Whatever it is, it's likely closer to the camera than the jets so it can travel across the camera's field of view much more quickly, without traveling faster than the jets. My guess is a bird, but I wouldn't rule out some kind of bug if it's even closer, traveling at a slower speed.

This video is an example of why I'm skeptical of eyewitness accounts about the speed of an object in the sky. People don't know how far away the object they are viewing is, and in this case some people seem to assume it's traveling faster than the jet, which is not a realistic or reliable assumption in this video.

Small object, perhaps a bird much closer to the camera. Seems simple enough.

Lousy source of information by the way.

As to the video, music and presentation - Oh the drama of it all!

Nothing interesting about it at all... You are on a crusade... why stop at the examiner? Many other sources out there you can put on your hit list...

This thread 22-9-2009 @ 10:27 AM

Your thread 22-9-2009 @ 10:49 AM

I would say it was 'motivated'

I really need to make again a copy and paste action, from another thread

Here it is:

___________________________-

BUGS or BIRDS. USSUALLY BUGS

...and technical phenomenons regarding capturing images.
...and people not knowing those technical stuff.

Bugs filmed during the day.
Bugs can appear long and short.
Bugs can appear white or black. (depending on ilumination and bacground brightness)
Bugs can appear colored or translucid.
Bugs can appear moving straight or doing fast turns.
Bugs are a very likely occurence. Just 2 holidays not hunting them and i have already a big collection.

I don't like bugs.

But here they are:

Damn those BUGS. It really can puzzle your brain...

p.s. all the animations are slowned down at half or third of real speed, because using GIF format.
