Great thread, as I was just surfing the web for good pics I could use as backgrounds in some manga I am drawing.

The 1 of the 9 hells, Blood springs in Japan is actually something like I have been looking for. Especially since theres a structure in the shot. I'm trying to get a feel for real old style Japanese archetecture/ hoouses and such. That picture is just perfect, as there is a few levels, and alot going on with the building, even the plants out front.

The rest while amazing I don't think I can use, as they are truely "Martian" looking as the title suggests. But I'll keep surfing the net for Japanese lanscapes, flowers, houses, city-scapes ect.

Nice post though , excellent pictures.

Those are some beautiful images there. I really wish that they were of a higher resolution. Some of them would make a great desktop.

Truly amazing.

I wonder why you don't see places like this featured on the Travel channel? They sacred, or something?

i find your jump to conclusions disturbing. dont be so easily swayed by a few words unless youve read my OP before it was edited.

the reason i wasnt banned from ATS for plagiarism is because i forgot to merely include the exernal quotes within the OP. I did however provide a link to the source, and took no credit for the OP which i took from the net.

if you think i care at all about meaningless pixels which are flags and stars, you dont know me at all.

personally i thought the thread was handled harshly, but i did forget and in the process forgot to add a key element to it, and that was my fault....but in no way did i not give credit where credit was due.
