These are the threads MR BOB is talking about:

www.abovetopsecret.com...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Do we really need three of these threads in the same forum? I think this should be moved to a different forum or to BTS.

However the first link doesnt have too many, the second one is great, spent some time looking throught it
thanks for sharing the link

BTS? lol thats why we have a fragile earth forum. These dont fit any any other forum, and most certainly dont belong on BTS.

Wow!

If you look at the 2nd picture in the Vale da Lua series of pictures I swear if I invert the colours and squint my eyes theres definately a humanoid figure in the top right corner stood on a rock

But seriously, I've read people's comments about "another one of these threads" I truly dont understand why people would bother to comment at all (but you have handled it well!) I learnt from an early age that if you have nothing constructive to say then dont say anything at all!

Ok, heres my constructive bit
I hadnt seen these pictures before as I never visit the fragile earth forum, so as a result of your thread I have seen some wild and wonderful places here on earth which maybe I wouldnt have and for that I thank you!

sometimes threads like this are necessary to wake us up from the mundaine life some of us live and remind us that there is beauty right at our door step and our existance is not all about technology.

we just need the $ to get there though hey...imagination can takes us there too

Amazingly beautiful photos of what has got to be some of the most mysterious places on earth most of which I knew nothing about. Its pictures like this that really get me thinking about how we as civilized humans have destroyed the beauty of this planet. It's nice to know such beautiful places still exist somewhere.

Its funny, today i heard someone say that Socotra Island would be a good place to make a live action version of the animated movie 'Fantastic Planet'. The similarities may be shocking to those who are familiar with the movie.
