The more I look at the Fed the more it appears to be nothing more than an empty pit to throw money into. It seems to even be the root cause behind a divided America. Would it not make more sense to remove most of the Fed and fall back to state & local government? There could be a 'micro-fed' called the alliance which is a lightly run system that pools a little money from each state to handle country wide infrastructure, defense and a few other bits and pieces. The majority of taxes would return to individual states and this amount of money would be MASSIVE. Just how much does the federal government cost the taxpayer to begin with? It must be staggering. Could this be the answer to the problems? No more Fed, no more Pres.. the Pres becomes a council of 50 state reps, etc.

I'm not gonna debate the necessity of the FED as anyone who's familiar with debt based monetary system understands how corrupt it is. But what Americans need to realize is that when people say there is nothing backing our money supply that is a myth. There may not be "gold" backing our money supply but there is a 600 billion dollar defense budget in the form of lots and lots of bombs, nukes, aircraft, and weaponry. It's genius if you think about...........................in a corrupt and evil sort of way. We are like the bully of the world, nothing more than a pimp. With our 600 billion dollar defense budget we can print all the money we want and force other countries to buy our debt..........you wanna renig on the deal China? We have more nukes

Since the "Fed" is actually a private corporation, and it holds a large portion of our debt (which it is responsible for creating) most of what we think is ours is actually theirs.

The Fed would never use their nukes against China, not after they have invested so much effort into establishing communism. This is why their president Nixon established our current one way trade with China, to grow theirs while bleeding ours.

Speaking of nukes, how exactly did China acquire the technology to build a nuke?
How about Russia?
At the end of WWII, Russian technology was 50 to 100 years behind ours. Less than 10 years latter, they were launching satellites and they had nukes.

In other words, we have all been sold out to the "Fed"
