There is a new show on History Channel called Mystery Quest that aired Wednesday, Sept 16. It dealt with the possibility that Hitler escaped from the
bunker.
Mr Marrs has written on this topic in a few books, and this episode tested the skull in possession of the Russians. The Russians have several stories
about what happened to Hitler's body, claiming that the body was dug up in 1970 and completely destroyed. Then the supposed skull of Hitler was found
to be in possession by Russia in the 1990s. Mystery Quest sent a scientist to get samples of the skull and blood that was on a sofa alleged to be the
sofa that Hitler died on.
The blood was that of a male, but since Hitler's relatives have not returned any communications, no DNA test can be made. The skull turned out to be
a female's.
The story by the surviving bodyguard is questioned as he claimed to have seen Hitler's and Eva Braun's bodies. An animator reconstructed the bunker
using blueprints and by checking out other bunkers that still survive. No one could of heard a gun shot as the room Hitler was in was next to an
engine room. The bodyguard and others could have been covering for what actually happened as they may still feel loyal toward their former leader.
The show was quite interesting and opened up many more questions as to who the Russians have in their possession. It also opens the very real
possibility that the conspiracy and other theories may be true that Hitler did escape the bunker.

While it is a delightful theory, and ties into the Antarctic base rumors nicely, it is very safe to say that Hitler died in that bunker in Berlin.
There are multiple eyewitness accounts of his body being discovered after his suicide, several of whom are still alive and available for comment
today.
While the authenticity of the skull and jaw fragments are in doubt, the soviet records of the transport, burial, and subsequent disposal of the
remains prior to the east german handover in the 80's is fairly clear cut.
Not least of all, let us be honest, if Adolf Hitler had escaped death in Berlin, he would have been at the top of the hitlist created by Israel soon
after its formation. Given how quickly they obtained and executed Eichman, they would have found Hitler. How could you keep quiet the survival of the
most infamous man in modern history?

The show interviewed one of the surviving bodyguards. He claimed he saw the body, but did not hear the gunshots. Others claimed they heard the
gunshots. The show used the animator to reconstruct the bunker and found it would of been impossible to hear anything coming from the room that Hitler
was in. The bunker had many areas that Hitler could of made his escape undetected. On top of that, the alleged partial skull of Hitler turned out to
belong to a female, there is still a mystery as to whether or not Hitler did die in the bunker. No body, and the belief by Joseph Stalin himself that
Hitler survived should add revelence to the story.
It is possible the bodyguards were lying when they were interviewed out of a sense of duty to their former leader.
While the Israelis would have put a hit on him, they also thought he was dead.
I am not saying he did survive, I do think the show opened the possibility of Hitler surviving.

This was a FACINATING program. I always thought the standard explantion was crap.......now proof.....somewhat...
Either way, the POS is dead now, but if he did live how did he hide from the Russians AND the US?
|
I'm sure he did escape. Like plenty others.
The whole bunker thing was just a big set up-
To the member who asked how he managed to hide from the Russian and the US....... well- let me tell you that he really wasn't THE enemy of those two
So no need for hiding- more than waiting a helping hand.
Go figure.

I was surprised that the Russians allowed them to do the tests and hadn't done it yet themselves. I still wonder if the female was Eva Braun (?) as
stated the age of the skull was young. The other thing about the blood and bone might be the genetic and possibly ethnic background.
Too bad they didn't have a complete skull of Hitler to do a facial reconstruction(?) Copies of this skull would have made money.......I would think.
One of my earliest childhood memories of 1961 or 1963 was meeting a much older Adolf Hitler without his mustache. Bizarre memories.

One of the theories is he was flown out of Germany by the pilot who was briefly mentioned in the episode. She denied she did such a thing and stated
she flew alone. That does seem strange she would of taken such a risk of being shot down as the allies were shooting at her plane.
The theories also state Hitler probably lived in South America somewhere. There were many countries who took in Nazis (mainly Argentina) at the
time.
I also think the skull might belong to Eva Braun. If the Soviets did destroy Hitler's body, they may have brought back Eva's body. Still, the
reports state she took poison and was not shot. They could of been wrong on that one.
I do hope that one day a member of Hitler's family will allow the use of their DNA to compare samples at least determine if the blood is Hitler's.

Maybe they won't cooperate because they know something that we don't...
