I always have recurring dreams like falling from a very high place, getting furious, and losing a tooth. I heard from friends that it's bad. Then again, the people I asked were the superstitious types.

Same here. I always have this wierd dream of running away from someone, one time i even dreamed running away from Chucky while i was at the zoo here in santa barbara. wierd. but i have dreams of losing teeth all the time, not just one, but sometimes all of them and im freaking out until i wake up and check LOL but i hear this particular dream is about worrying too much about your appearance. Like me, im always cutting my own hair about twice a week, my beard is shaped up nicely, i work out, etc. so it makes sense. are u the same?

also i noticed that deja vu is just an experience from one of your dreams. its as if at one point u were predicting the future in ur subconcious mind, and later in life it actually occurs leaving u that wierd feeling of having been there before. so its also a way for fate to give u a sneak peek of whats to come.

ALSO, i had an ex-gf who had her mother die of cancer. and never really coped well with it. she is the youngest of 2 sisters. her odler sister was a lil more understanding of her mothers death, however the younger wasnt and was always getting visits from her mother in her dreams. there were even days when her and her sis would both get a visit in the same night from her during their dream state. so now whenever it happens they call eachother in the morning to see of they had both expereinced it.

dreams are a huge part of our life and not just some bogus arrogant claim about chemicals in ur brain and blah blah blah. it makes me hate science when i hear ppl going the easy route when it comes to an explanation. we gotta look deeper my people!

good thread.. one time i had a dream i was an a concrete island surrounded by a fence in the middle of a ocean storm. the storm was more like a hurricane but i wasnt getting wet lol .. cant explain.. anyway, my friends and ex girl were with me and there was a mansion on one side of this island.. which btw turned from concrete to a parking lot with a roof .. i know weird.. then we went inside and found gold and money.. but there was a bomb.. my friend and his girlfriend in the dream, and real life at the time.. wanted to stay.. also another couple where there and my girlfriend and I.. we decided to leave but the first couple stayed.. cause of the money.. so then the bomb explodes and they die.. the other couple with us almost made it together.. the boyfriend died from the explosion.. my girl and i made it to the fence and made it over.. as soon as we did that and the mansion blew up the sea was calm and sunny out..

i woke up thinking about this dream for the rest of the morning then forgot about it around 12 pm. i woke up at 8 for class... then 2 weeks later.. both my guy friends get into a car accident.. the one that stayed in the mansion died instantly.. the other one who almost made it.. died in the hospital days later =*( .. as soon as i got the news i remember the dream... i had other dreams of future warnings.. nothing specific but clues and advice mostly that i usally can figure out sometimes i over analyze dream pertaining to my activities or w,e for the day..

weird huh

Dreams, as a psychological factor, are important. When dreaming, our brains probably sorts out the mess of recent events that may have affected our psyche. Mind needs order to function properly; I guess this is why lack of sleep(proper rest) causes instability in people.

Sometimes dreams can give us hints of reality that we have consciously missed. These are precognitive dreams which our subconsciousness are capable of producing, relating on 'weak cues' that hasn't been regonized consciously.

It is said that really vigilant individual might have no dreams at all. This is because there is no distinction between subconsciousness and consciousness in vigilant individual.
