Actually if anything iiNet is the safest carrier to be on at the moment simply because they refuse to give in to the PTB. I don't mean to sound like I'm hyping up iiNet but I have never ever had a problem with them. I have been with them for 2 years now (have the top plan on Naked DSL) and they recently upgraded our connection to 75gb on/75gb off and sent us a BoB router for free hehe.

Whirlpool forums iiNet has a couple of representatives who inhabit those forums answering questions and troubleshooting. There are many threads on the legal battle if you wanted to look at them and see what iiNet has to say about them straight from the horses mouth.
