Unbelievable! How low can you go? Glenn Beck hit piece: The Politics Of Personal Destruction

I was at work today when a few employees started discussing this "topic" as though it was real because it was linked on a left wing blog. Of course, half of the guys there do not keep up with news and assume there is some truth to it because other people are talking about it as though it were.

Has this what politics have come down to?

Please note that this is disturbing... That people can actually sink this low in a quest for personal destruction.

I think it's brilliant, I wish nothing but the worst for Beck. A true piece of excrement in every sense of the word. That being said it will be Palin/Beck 2012 in a landslide victory. I'm not worried, I don't live there anymore

This isn't discussing an issue, this is blatant hatred. Showing a video of someone making an idiot out of themselves is funny, Slamming someone with their own video tape is funny and can prove a point.

This is not cool... what if it were YOU! What if someone posted this about you and people are talking about it and some think that it is true and other "unscrupulous" people are promoting it as if it were.

This is vicious.

So, you would find this OK if it was President Obama, Ted Kennedy, or Rahm Emanuel? Seriously, would you think that this is OK?

I wouldn't, It is vicious and I would denounce anyone who did that just as I did the "birth certificate" crowd... (Really, does anyone really think the Clinton's and the GOP would not have found out and used it in the campaign? C'mon, get real... The GOP isn't that incompetent and the Clinton's sure as hell are not.)

Really, false attacks? The few times I have watched his show, he has backed up everything he has said.

Beck has been caught on on lie after lie. One vid he's saying the crap US healthcare system almost killed him.. next vid he is saying it's the greatest in the world. He is a disinfo agent of monumental proportions. If he was a good guy yeah I'd say 'not cool' but he's slime of the highest order... he'll get zero pity from me. He's probably partying it up at a Nevada whorehouse with Hannity as we type. These a$$clowns are indefensible.

What good comes from that? What issues does it resolve or how is it constructive to a debate? What the hell good does it do throw petty insults or maybe lame jokes out that distract from the issues? Even with that, "You look funny" or "Your a drunk" is petty... Insinuating someone is a Pedophile / Rapist is a freeking large leap from that.


Do you guys truly believe that "No lie goes to far", "No Corruption goes to deep", and "No laws or morals apply" as long as my (D) or (R) side wins?

If that is really how it is then our nation is in worse shape than I thought.


A friend of mine at work either quoted or had a revelation of wisdom today, I think I will change my sig later to match. This is wisdom. We should all think about it:

Those who believe in income redistribution, who don't believe success can be earned, rather it should be doled out. I'm thinking his detractors take little snippets out of context. We do have the greatest healthcare in the world. Medicare and Medicaid are failing programs. Contradiction?

There are some real liberals out there, but a communist is a communist.

Calling a communist a liberal only confounds the issue. (and makes things easier for the communist)

The problem is the line has been blurred. Most liberals won't even admit to being socialists, let alone communists.
