Watching a fake video can change a person's perception of reality, a new study finds. The results showed that almost half of the people who watched a doctored video of an event believed the video rather than their actual experience, and some were even convinced to testify as an eyewitness to the fictitious happenings.

Similar studies have suggested much of the same...

It's disturbing how easily manipulated we are.

It's why 'vigilance' should be everyone's middle name.

Now I wonder which if any forums here might fall under this type of research...

I just can not seem to put my finger on a forum subject in which video presentation would cause absolute belief in the video presented...

And why would anyone want to do such a thing...
