How can you say something so contradictory? If he is obviously lying (which he most certainly does every other time he flaps his gums) then how can you like him? This is the problem, we keep giving free passes to arse clowns like obama. "He lies and that is wrong but I still like him because...he is good looking (not my opinion), smart (his teleprompter is), he is half black, Etc, etc (insert your own reason)"

How about "He lies to us thus he is bad" When did lying become a forgivable act especially when done with such consistency and deft?

Also, I did think that he had good intentions during the campaign, but he overpromised and underdelivered! Was this because he got new information once assuming office, I don't know? Cheney thinks so!

Also, what he says in his speech could come to fruition, if the Bill is edited in such a way, so maybe he isn't flat out lying, maybe he is just still optimistic? Ah, your probably right, and I have just grown so accustomed to lying politicians, that I expect it!

My response to the video: so what? It merely proves what most people already realize. In a crowd of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people, indeed, you will find some idiots.

Several ATS tea party members believe their cause is just and the rest of us 'don't get it'. That any wild comments are only made by a small handful of extreme members. They believe their cause is well founded, noble, and a movement of real Americans trying to better their country. Well, I believe this post says it all. When the leader of this so called movement can say such unimaginable ludicrous and insane things what more proof does anyone need that this thing is a complete sham. It is a movement of bitter angry sore losers and it has unfortunately become fueled by racism and extremists. Like a quote from my tea party friend in the deep south "tellin ya boe, gotta get that god damned ni**** out of the white house!".

America is one crazy place. Some of these people have been mobilized by Glen Beck, even believing he should be president. The guy is insane, like clinically.

I must say that watching this made my mouth drop. I didn't know it was this bad. I like to think people in the US are smarter than this. It's too bad they couldn't elaborate beyond the talking points that their leader feeds them. It's such a shame...

In any crowd of thousands of people you will have a percentage of morons. Some people are just simpletons with little or no education. This does not represent the majority of people at the rally.

I believe there were similar videos of people being interviewed during the Obama inauguration showing the same level of stupidity. It is just a fact in any society that there is a certain percentage of idiots. These people will just follow the crowd and really don't have any idea what is going on.

I've seen a lot of footage, and they all appear the same just look at the signage that nearly every single one of them is holding. Non-morons would not even think about associating with these freaks. And read above.. the LEADER of the tea party claimed Obama is an "Indonesian Muslim welfare thug". So does your argument also stand with the LEADER of the so called movement? Is the leader also just one of these few idiots?
