One city, province and country at a time, these people will try and take our rights away. Apparently these guys don't even hold to a "strict" interpretation of Shariah, whatever that means... perhaps they only cut off a few fingers if you're suspected of stealing rather than a whole arm.

Honestly, Shariah is much more disturbing and worrying to me personally than say, any sort of new world order. These people are no joke and will take every inch we give them in our respective nations until they're calling the shots and we're left wondering what happened.

Yet again we see another 3rd world country (or is that 2nd now) trying to isolate itself from the world. I’ll have to admit adultery isn’t good, it ruins it for the kids. Parents should stick together. These old religions need to stop killing due to sexual morality. I understand murder but anything else is just wrong. Let the maker get them in the afterlife. Maybe there’s a better way to discourage adultery. Christianity dropped these ancient ways a long time ago. It’s time for Islam to grow up. Jesus said those who use the sword will die by the sword. Fear of not pleasing Allah/God is more important than fear of what man may do to you if you don’t follow the rules.

What is this doing in CiR? It is a 3rd world country enforcing 3rd world laws, i do not see the conspiracy here.

There is a video of a stoning on YouTube. It took place in Iran, I believe. I think there were three people condemned and they were all stoned together. They bury them up to their thighs in dirt so they can't run away and cover them with sheets so they can't see where the rocks are coming from and duck. Then they start throwing the rocks. The sheets are soon stained blood red. Some people take longer to collapse. It's not a pretty sight.

I think the worst thing about that sort of punishment is that it brutalizes the people who carry it out and brutalizes the society in general.

I wonder who the stoners are? I wonder if they get a kick out of the carnage? I guess it's human nature to love violence.

On a lighter note I would like to add this Monte Python clip which is taken from the movie The Life of Brian. This is a funny movie and so they are making fun of a real thing that used to happen. The Jewish nation made a law that forbid the utterance of the divine name, which would be Yahweh the Hebrews. People would be punished if they said the name out loud. The english usage of the name is Jehovah and this is what is said in the clip.

The one accused has a good point about why he said it but the stoners are so excited about the event that they can't wait to throw the rocks.
