I do live there, born and raised in the South. This isn't normal thinking, thats an ignorant statement.
And a reply the other poster talking about Good Ole Abe freeing the slaves:
And the Civil War wasn't over slavery like most people think, most soldiers didn't have slaves. That was the rich peoples goals, states rights was the reason the war was fought. You know - cut down on a giant imposing Federal Government.....
Maybe the south was ahead of their time in some aspects.
