Personal take on healthcare reform

Because of the Seizure medication I take I have to have regular blood work done. The last bill for this blood work was $347. of this amount billed, Medicare paid $107.33. my cost was $55. the hospital had to write off the rest.
The office visit for my doctor was $78. Medicare paid Zero.
Is this really what people want?
I pay $1157. a year in premiums for my medical and $415. for my drug coverage, just in case you all think this is free for those of us receiving Medicare.
Also there are Often procedures that Medicare will not cover. As an example, the removal of pre- cancerous growths are not covered. I guess in order to be covered they have to actually Be cancer.
