There are however many other strange things on Phobos, although this picture in the OP is not one of them IMHO.

Does anyone have an explanation for the ruts that run across the surface the follow the contours of the crater lip ?

They look very interesting but what would cause them ?

the real question is why would aliens have so many bases. The rumors say that their is bases on our moon, mars, mars moon. so why so many bases

From a tactical standpoint, why not? We ( the US) have many bases, all over, IF there are alien bases on Phobos and our Moon it would suggest that its a defensive posture for observation and tactical superiority over someone they deem could be a threat in the future.

*******DISCLAIMER*******

Above post is a clear conjectered answer to this particular post and in no way advocates bases on Phobos or our moon, just answering a question based on what I would do if it was me.

Friend,There are a lot of better picts of strange structures on the moon and mars
to ponder than this crater. The russian's probe took a pict of an artificial object crossing it's path on a flyby of phobos years ago just before losing contact with earth.

Hoagland's book "dark mission" is a good collection of suppressed information NASA
would prefer the public not notice.

We don't know the age or origin of the moon.It is not a part of the earth.
It's mineral composition is different.
It may have been used for eons before the dawn of man.
It would be a useful center for stop-offs to other planets besides earth.
It's bases and ruins may have been there before it was captured in earth's orbit.

It's been pretty well established that the "object" is an imaging artifact.

You don't need the usual dish to capture signals. We have very efficient ways to receive transmitions and we don't need to use a dish, so there is no reason to think that aliens would make them either.

But if they needed to use a dish, why build a artificial dish inside a much bigger natural formation (assuming they are using Phobos like a disguise)?

Why not using the natural formation like they did in the Arecibo Observatory?

The small cratter isn't a radar dish, IMO.

We have a pretty good idea of the Moon's origins and it's age. It's slightly younger than the Earth and is composed of the same materials as Earth's upper mantle. It's a pretty good bet that it formed as the result of a collision with a smallish planet.

One theory is that some planetoids are artificially made like a balloon;
they are inflated and left with a large crater patch bigger than all the rest.
This may account for the hollow theory about our Moon and Mars'.

Sure we have plenty of "ideas",But no one knows, because we weren't there.
I did not say It is of different minerals.(Titanium is an abundant element there.)
The "collision theory" is consistant with Sumerian Mythology.

There is no collision in Sumerian mythology. Zecharia Sitchin is the only one who claims there is.

A good question AM.
why not just cruise around in their ships. If they have bases at all then it would be because of some need or another, and since they seem to be popularly, not so different to us, then they have a need. The old animal, vegetable or mineral idea is a good guideline for us and maybe for them.

Looks like a crater within a crater, and the light is the tip of a secondary peak sticking up into the sunlight.
Great photo!!

Any theories as to whatever took that chunk out of phobus happend in Martian orbit or not? May the ejecta have caused issues on martian surface?...Has it been proven that Mars has shifted on its axis or is that just pie in the sky (in the parlance of our times)?

Well, that's an easy question.
There is more than one type of alien.
The Grays need their base.
The Atlantians need their base.
The Reptilians probably like to be with their own kind.
I would like to check out that Helium 3 mine/alien base on the moon.

Ancient civilization that populated the solar system
before the war blew up a planet, ripped the atmosphere off Mars and the debris is still pelting us with rocks

I think the people who have been taken to these planets and seen life and those RVers who have seen life are viewing the past
