Just because your paranoid doesn't mean there aren't people out to get you.

And yes there is some kind of secret plot going on, but like every good secret..no one is telling...

Let them just keep on beating the "Racist" drum.

It's pretty much background noise... most of America can't even hear it even more.

The rage of the Liberals is amazing. The ship is going down, and most of them seem determined to just ride that sucker to the bottom.

I got news for a lot of people... a good number of people who are at these tea parties actually voted for Obama, thinking they were getting "Change".

Well, they got Change, all right, and found it wasn't what they thought it was going to be.

But you Liberals just keep on shouting about "mandates" and "racism". Everyone's pretty much starting to ignore the "racism" stuff with a roll of the eyes and a hearty "Whatever".

As for that mandate some think Obama got to turn this country into a socialist state, it's gonna be hard to use it when many in his own party are turning against him.

And that mandate thing didn't work out too well for Clinton. He also tried to take this country to the far left too fast, and the Dems paid the price, and lost Congress for 10+ years.

This time, they will lose it for much longer. Will be poetic justice when Rep Joe Wilson takes Pelosi's job.

Here we have a perfect example of a "shoot the messenger" deflection.

Don't say his message is wrong, just try to demonize him to try and deflect the message away from what may prove to be true and possibly very damaging to the dems.

The states rights debate debate continues after 170 years since Calhoun (a South Carolina senator) argued for South Carolina's right to preserve slavery and more, to send agents outside South Carolina to even Massachussetts to capture and retrieve escaped slaves and capture even freed men. The core motive then, 1835, was King Cotton. The current states' rights debate is still clothed in racist terms by Glenn Beck and still all about preserving the profits of big corporations, now it is the profits of the health insurance industry.

In both cases the common folk are whipped up to a frenzy with fear so they turn down paths that ae not in their best interests, they do things that harm them. King Cotton gave nothing to the whie share croppers as well as nothing to slaves. Now, Beck and his ilk, are getting ordinary folk to turn down guaranteed health "COVERAGE" in favor of letting big insurance companies rip off huge bonuses from steadily increasing premiums. AND big insurance is just that..companies who have demonstrated they will drop anyone who endangers the profit line. THAT IS NOT HEALTH COVERAGE. IT IS A HEALTH SCAM.

You might actually look at Wilson's background before making a knee-jerk response.

Here's Wilson's profile:
Candidate Profile

He's a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

This is an organization that has been taken over in the past decade by radical neo-Confederates who favor secession and defend slavery as a benign institution. Leading the takeover is a radical racist named Kirk Lyons, who's been an important legal figure on the far right for some years.

In more recent years, the takeover has led to an outright internal civil war.
Experts say the divisions within the Sons vary between two extremes. On one side are the traditionalists, members who focus on cleaning up Confederate grave sites and conducting Civil War re-enactments. On the other side are the so-called Lunatics, up to 2,000 members who deride traditionalists as "grannies'' and belong to camps named after notorious Southern figures such as John Wilkes Booth and Jesse James. John Wilkes Booth members have been known to put pennies in urinals, making sure to leave the Lincoln side face-up. Other Lunatic groups have removed the U.S. flag from their halls and banned the Pledge of Allegiance.

Joe Wilson, as a state legislator, was one of only seven Republicans to go against their own party and vote to keep the Dixie Rebel flag flying over the South Carolina capitol: The flag came down that year after Republicans in both houses went for a compromise that would put it on Statehouse grounds at the Confederate Soldier’s monument. The “Magnificent Seven” of Senators who voted to keep the flag up included current Congressman Joe Wilson (who I served with in the 218th Infantry Brigade of the National Guard.)

A clearer picture of why this congressman might so virulently breach protocol and loudly interrupt an African-American president's speech to Congress by calling him a liar does start to emerge, doesn't it?

So inquiring minds want to know:

1. Is Joe Wilson still a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans?

2. If so, does he condone the activities of the "Lunatic" faction that now controls the SCV?

3. Does Joe Wilson consider the Republican Party "the Party of Lincoln"?

4. Does Joe Wilson support secession?

He copied the quotes from a newsbusters article that he didn't cite: newsbusters

You can't blame him. Who would want to cite a lousy newsbusters article?

thanks Andrew.. I was a little confused about that since it wasn't in the video he posted. I'll look for a longer version of the video to see if this was actually said.

Thanks.

Those SVC guys are so bad that in May of this year they sent a thank you letter to President Obama for upholding the tradition of the office he was elected. The thanks was for him sending a wreath to the Confederate Monument.

I guess that was his racist white half that did that.

You might be suprised to hear that Bill Clinton and George W Bush wrote letters of Commendation to the SCV.

Strange that Bill Clinton who is fondly thought of as the first black president would support such a group.

I've donated to Wilson. I would have done the same to any Democrat with the balls to call Bush out. We need more people like Joe who can look past the 'decorum' and call it like it is.

So let me get this straight?

If you question Obamas origin of birth and qualifications for holding office you are...racist?

If you question the government orchestrated bailouts and government take overs of the auto industry and the banking system...that is racist?

And just for pointing out the immense, horrific deficit that this admin is running up and pointing out the fact that they are now attempting to do a strong arm takeover of the US health system....racist again?

When did it become racist to question things that affect us all?

Did he believe that as a black president he would be above all scrutiny just because he was African American? Is the damage this adminstration is doing to our country any less because he is a non white?

When does it not become racist and start becoming patriotic and sensible to question what exactly these people are doing? Is Obama any less accountable because of his race? Is he supposed to get a free pass?

Joe Wilson didn't say...you are black and you lie...he said YOU LIE. And from the looks of the first 9 months in office I would say he may have a point. He isnt racist for simply saying what so many people are thinking.

If a man is going to be president then he is to be held accountable for his decisions, and he is accountable to all Americans not just the ones who live in San Francisco and uptown Chicago.

Keep using the racism rhetoric to divide this country even further and civil war will be the result.

I remember debating the confederate flag in civics back in high school.. all but one or two of the black kids said it was ok, as its historic.. more white people in the class were offended it might offend someone else... of course, the basis for political correctness is ignorant to an extreme. Before the confederacy all states were under the union, so to ban the confederate flag we must ban the american flag as it represented the injustice of slavery much longer...

MSNBC is a disgusting channel, I wouldn't dare watch it.. I prefer to read cnn, but they have gone downhill lately.

When Libs and Dems are losing an argument or debate they start throwing the racist card out. Usually people are so terrified of being called a racist that once they hear it they abort the debate. So this is a tactic of the dems, they think that if they call every body a racist that we will stop making noise. They have said that when somebody calls obama a socialist, that its code for "the n word", So even if everything obama does is in fact socialist you cant call him a socialist. According to the Libs if you did not vote for obama your racist, If you dont agree with everything he does your a racist, if you dont fall to your knees for him your a racist. Well Im tired of hearing the word racist, I did not vote for obama, I do not like obama, I dont agree with anything hes doing, He is a liar, a con man and a socialist. So if that makes me a racist then im proud to be one.

Just curios how you came to the conclusion that I put my hope in either party? As far as I'm concerned...I'm the only one who will ever do anything for myself and my family. I trust no man let alone a government of liars, thieves and murderers.

Please excuse...my misunderstanding.

You do have it right!

Well yeah he is... What he talks about behind closed doors is probably likely to carry racial overtones. You'd be a moron to think otherwise...

He probably never thought he'd live to see the day when a Black man occupied the Presidency of the United States. A Black man that not to long ago wouldn't have been allowed to eat in the same resturant as this White man... Or use the same bathroom, or drink from the same water fountain...

South Carolina, hah. I just took a trip to Florida the summer and passed through South Carolina, Georgia, heh. I can tell you that time hasn't forgotten some values people have had.

I'm not saying anything about not liking Obama, I could care less. Government has no race it's all about control. heh

What you should look at is the fact that.

1) He's from South Carolina a notably racist state. Confederate.

2) He's White in a high position in the Senate, pretty much handed down
to him from his racist ancestors, which he had/has.

3) The most important issue, is that he ridiculed the Standing President of the United States, so he basically has no respect for his position, I guess it does matter to him what color you are, because in equal positions you still get no respect. Whether he agreed with the President or not, he had no place to react to the President the way he did, in that forum.

The Fact that he did what he did meant also that he did not care about the position of the Man he shouted at, he saw him for what he had always saw him as, a Black man.
