WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said on Friday it would accept Iran's offer of wide-ranging talks with major powers despite the Islamic Republic's stated refusal to discuss its nuclear program.

They been trying to negotiate for 8+ years and, I believe, are giving it one last go......USrael, cram all the sympothy in that you can before October...

All of this plus Putin directly way outta left field saying "oh no, dont attack Iran" I dont think Russia will get directly involved, and just wanted to be known that he won't support such an idea for either side....
