While I certainly understand the concept of a Republic vs. a Democracy, I fail to see how "democracy is killing the republic".... We don't have a democracy, so how can it be killing the republic?

i have said this for some time now, but no one seems to believe me, this video really helps paint the picture.

people don't understand that our nation has been stolen under the guise of mob mentality, (democracy).

however as stated by the member above me, we don't live in a real democracy anymore, so i guess we're already in the oligarchy.

That I can agree with. we seem to live with a government for the corporations and by the corporations..
