ATS Flip Flopping about Alex Jones

I have always stated that I do not think highly of Mr. Jones, and his tactics.

There were threads started about a big announcement, and Charlie Sheen and his open letter to the President.

These threads were labeled as hoaxes, and then the hoax label was removed and the threads moved to other areas.

Why?

After oodles of pages to these threads, I'd like to know without digging through more pages why the hoax label was removed.

Is ATS becoming bi-polar, or what's the deal?

Yes. No. Whatever. You figure it out.

My computer has been screwed up for two days. No internet access (or at least, very sparse). Someone please U2U me and give me a very basic story on what happened and what the status is. Thanks.

To label threads as hoaxes by one of the owners of this site, then having them unlabeled seems like your answer.

I shouldn't have to figure it out.

Alex Jones apologizes for Hoax

Just read that thread Skeptic Overlord says why it was changed and says he doesn't 100% buy AJs excuse but you can't indite on suscpicion you actually need proof.

Anyway its not fair to paraphrase so read his responses in that thread.

Some will think AJ lied some don't just pick your camp and run with it its your right to whatever side of the argument you are on.

Pls though read that thread don't post after this you still don't have an answer because the thread i just linked answers your questions and then some.

Oh, good gosh, another thread with yet more pages of the same.

I'm not going to lie and tell you I read the whole thing, I skipped some pages but got the point.

The gist of it is, just more people saying if they accept the apology or not.

An apology after the fact is as good as not putting the disclaimer for all to see in the first place, but that is just my opinion.

So, I guess it is as you said, for each to make their own descision.

Fixing my add on as another edit.

It would have been nice to get a mass U2U about this like we did for the digg after the articles being labeled a hoax.
