Here is a wakeup call picture I found, thanks to Diggers:

I found it interesting and funny because of the mix race, communist and antichrist (?) stuff.

I certainly hope the healthcare reform is passed, so everyone enjoys a decent health without going broke. Then we laugh, looking back at us calling each other names and the president for helping people.
I believe many of the discontent are only looking for excuses to have a go at Obama , the antichrist

Others are blindly listening to the corrupt politicians and insurance against this -communist
- reform.
Others enjoy a good health coverage and see reality only through their own experience, the poor and minorities are simply beyond human beings how dare they ask for free healthcare?

I'm with remix tip, what do a bunch of racist have to do with health care?

The simple fact that racist saying "race mixing is communism" doesn't make it communist, but government run insurance or health care is socialism or communism or whatever you want to call it.

I'm going to reserve my thoughts on what I think of the people on Digg.

Either way this is a below the belt attempt of trying to link people against government run health care as racist, which is clearly not the case.

The definition of communism I've heard most is "government control over means of production". I think its fair to say the service sector should be included under communism as well.

Here are examples of communism:
- Government take-over of GM
- Government take-over of mail delivery
- Government takeover of health care insurance
- Government takeover of banks

The USA has taken very large steps towards communism over the past year. The USA plans to take additional large steps toward communism due to health care politics over the next year. The USA will increase its level of communism over the next year.

Race mixing is a social issue, so is universal healthcare.

I was just pointing out how people are quick to jump on the antichrist and communist hating bandwagon without understanding what it even means.

I find it worrying when it's politicians saying that. They only want to fuel the anger of the kind of people you see on that picture, and we can find plenty of them on ATS

There is a touch of racism too, because universal healthcare would certainly benefit minorities more.

The first word that describes Obama more than any other is "COMMUNIST". It only took me about 30 seconds of research the first time I heard of him to figure out he was a red-blooded authoritarian commie.

It was unimaginable to me that he could have won the Illinois senate being such a radical Communist. Yet he won. And I laughed when I heard he was running for president but he got the last laugh.

Are you implying that anyone who calls someone out as a communist is a redneck racist?

THE OP'S POINT WAS IGNORANCE AND FEAR AMONG AN UNIFORMED
PUBLIC.

There was NO government "takeover" of GM.
GM came calling TO BORROW MONEY, the lender ( the government ) gave them terms, including controlling interest. GM accepted, THEY WERE NOT TAKEN OVER!
Mail delivery? WTF are you talking about> Mail delivery is mandated by The Constitution.
Health Insurance? The government has the power to regulate interstate commerce ( business). The government already ofers health insurance through the VA, Medicare and Medicade.
The government has not taken over "banks", it ALWAYS regulates banks when they become insolvent. Interstate commerce.
I'm sorry but I don't have a problem with your opinion, but I do with yout ignorance. Grow up!

I very much see and appreciate the OP's point. Anytime any uneducated rube in our country see something they dont like, they yell "COMMUNISM", or "SOCIALISM", even though most of them have no clue what either truly is, or that there is a difference between them. Sad ignorant masses
