Just to put a little light on this matter the people that made this video tried to do the same thing at 3 other locations run by ACORN and failed. This video was made in July 09 and the two people that they are talking to are SEASONAL PART-TIME workers. So you can not say that the whole organization is at fault at this just the 2 people that happen to have fallen for the bait by these people that made this video after at least 3 known attempts at another location.

I don't give a rat's a** who they were, they were obviously hired by that organization and were told how to commit fraud. Why else have a tax specialist on the payroll? I will not fall for this crap that this is an isolated incident, ACORN has been implicated in many cases of fraud, but no one will do anything that goes against their man obama.

Mainstream Media news ..... where are they on this story?

I may have missed it... check it out yourself... If you find an ACORN article on any of these main pages please let me know...

nytimes.com...

www.cbsnews.com...

www.msnbc.msn.com...

abcnews.go.com...

A google news search on ACORN brings up 314 news articles on this event... Up until the AP announcement of the 2 workers being fired it was just over 20, most from the right leaning examiner.com sites across the country which have their obvious slant.

Is there any reasonable explanation from the supposed responsible journalists as to why this event does not merit even an investigation on the MSM's part?

CNN.com and Fox are on this, we are on this, hundreds of other places on the web are on this...

This has made me so upset, I will not look for any news from the above MSM links... I will stick to CNN/Fox at least they have reported on and put forth some type of effort to investigate this.

And of course the many sources online who are desperately trying to get the truth out.

More worthy than an organization that apparently condones prostitution and gives no pause when told that there are underage girls being brought over for that sole purpose?

Please be specific in what organizations are rife with corruption comparable to this, and I'll be just as outraged at them. Though I think you'll have a hard time finding any that can outdo Acorn.

Really...A hard time finding an organization that can out do Acorn?

Well, here is the first that comes to mind that scares the bejesus out of me...

C-STREET or THE FAMILY
They offer apartments to powerful washington politicians to get their freak on and in exchange leverage that knowlege to have those politicians do their bidding. AND they are international.

The C-Street Organization...TERRIFYING

MARK SANFORD STAYED AT C-STREET, SANFORD

2politicaljunkies.blogspot.com...

www.youtube.com...

They "counsel" Senators and World Leaders.

They have helped to topple governements. No Exageration

They subscribe to what they call the "King David" philosophy....i.e. You are powerful because God wants you to be powerful and therefore the laws of decency do not apply to you.

They have sponsored extra-marital affairs in the name of God.

There are Rumors (unconfirmed) of them allowing or encouraging Senators darkest desires while staying/living there...so they could use that knowledge as leverage to furcher a "religious" Agenda..The end justifies the means..like the crusades.

Senator John Ensign and South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, were considering running for President in 2012 and their affairs were known to the Family several months before becoming public. Chip Pickering, R-Miss had an affair while at C-Street, Also...David Durenberger (R-MN) And MANY others.

AND...as long as it is for the greater good of their "religious" cause they can let bad things happen to wifes, women and children.

There leader says the have adopted the MAFIA's model of secrecy..

The first that comes to mind is C-Street or the Family.

They subscribe to a religious belief that they should weild power in government in the name of God.

To this end the have helped to topple governments...no exageration...they are proud of it.

The have a "Boarding house" on C-Street in DC where they allow powerful politicians to stay whenver they like when they are in DC.

They preach that God has chosen those politicians to be powerful and thus those politicians are not bound by traditional laws or mores.

They have "sponsored" a long list of polticians that have had affairs and worse while staying at the house and they use that knowledge to weild power.

Sanford stayed there and MANY, MANY others that have gotten busted cheating on their wives, texting young pages with obscene suggestions etc.

Their leader says he modeled the org after the Mafia...imagine the Mafia with a Christian Fundementalist agenda so efed up that most Christain organizations denounce them. Now imagine that organization with many of our Senators and various world leaders in their "pocket".

anything goes on C-Street for the Politicians that stay there, but they are at the mercy of the leaders of C-Street because at anytime they could leak what they know. Blackmail for God.

They talk alot about King David and how he was chosen by God to rule and thus was not accountble for the small sins...the rules apply...end justifies the means etc.

Sanford has echoed this rhetoric in justifying his affair.

I am pressed for time, but it is fascinating and terrifying research if you want to google around about them. C-Strreet and Sanford is a good place to start...or check out Youttube for C-Street.

Terrifying.

Looks like there's more to this story. I wonder how the ACORN apologists will explain this:

Second video shows ACORN officials helping 'pimp', 'prostitute' in Washington DC office.

One day after two ACORN officials in Baltimore were fired for offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute to engage in child prostitution and a series of tax crimes, another secretly shot videotape has surfaced that shows the same couple getting similar advice from ACORN officers in Washington.

So it seems we now have two incidents, not just one. It appears that this behavior is more widespread than some may want you to believe.

Terrifying? Despicable behavior for any senator (any married person for that matter) having an affair, but terrifying? Not terrifying compared to what Acorn is doing. I didn't read anywhere in that blog that they were promoting prostitution or the use of underage girls for that purpose.

I'm not saying that there's not corruption in other organizations, but not on the same level as Acorn. This story isn't the first account of corruption within Acorn, and judging by the last post I read on here, it won't be the last. Acorn is head and shoulders above any organization when it comes to corruption. AND, they get federal funding for it. I didn't read anywhere in that blog that The Family gets funding of any sort.

So, I would still have to say, no comparison.

So this "independent" film maker goes to some inner city ACORN offices and is shocked he finds people who are willing to help him set up a brothel? That's the story? ACORN is a minor player and is mostly comprised of volunteers and relatively low paid employees. Shocking. I'm assuming the same folks that are worried about this are the same ones infatuated with Obama's birth certificate. ACORN doesn't do itself any favors, that's for sure.

Anyone that condones the trafficking of human's, underage or not, clearly has their moral screws loose, but then welcome to inner city USA.

If one was really concerned about the trafficking of underage girls from foreign countries (or right here in the US of A) instead of these silly videos I would suggest spending some time on America's southwestern border, or paying some attention to the spider web of financial and business interests that connect foreign organized crime and American businesses (or as I call it, American organized crime).

Acorn is head and shoulders above any organization when it comes to corruption? Really? I don't think so.

I'm much more concerned with right wing "The Family" type organizations than I am with Acorn. They are in the cross hairs because they received "stimulus" funds. I pretty sure if you follow the paper trail we're going to find a lot more disturbing uses of taxpayer money.

So basically, you're saying that we should only investigate when a conservative or conservative organization does something illegal, immoral and/or unethical?

Here's a novel idea. Why don't we investigate and prosecute ALL of these cases, regardless of political affiliation, and when we have clear evidence of very serious corruption, lets not just dismiss it as a 'silly video.' Otherwise, the argument basically amounts to 'Its not corruption when our side does it.'

Most of us are already aware of the disturbing uses of taxpayer money. That's why we're speaking about Acorn on this thread. They benefit from taxpayer money. "The Family" doesn't as far as I'm aware. Unless you can provide proof of organizations that receive taxpayer dollars involved in promoting prostitution and the use of underage children for such, you have no argument.

what about the fact that they also pulled it off in D.C.? Fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. kinda like how they have "SEASONAL PART-TIME workers" in numerous states getting convicted of voter fraud? If they have such a bad problem with the people they hired then it is time to clean house. Im willing to bet that with all the people that are out of work right now that they can find some decent people, even part-timers, to fill in for these jobs. Not people who are coaches in illegal international underage prostitution rings. And im sorry, but if they were to stupid to fall for that story to begin with then they shouldnt be in charge of billions of our dollars in tax money that is now going to ACORN. I mean, come one, if somebody walked up to anybody on this board saying that they need to get a house to use as a brothel to fund their campaign would you fall for it? Besides the fact that the people who fell for it are pure scum (i also believe if they have children that they need to be taken away from them), they are also to stupid to actually fall for something that is obviously a farce. Im actually shocked that it worked but am proud that they did it and its about time somebody did.

You can see all the videos at this site if it hasnt been allready posted on here.

I am sickened by WHO the gov't is giving our money to.

What irks me even more is that MSNBC/CNN are so in bed with the current administration that they will not touch any story that makes their messiah look bad in any light.

Now, I understand that the MSM has chosen sides, we know which ones are conservatives and which ones are liberal.

But I get the feeling that if the roles were reversed, Fox News would STILL talk about this issue even if it made conservatives look bad.

MSNBC and CNN would rather talk about how crazy Glenn Beck is for EXPOSING people, rather than the actual issue itself.

They are hurting people by not talking about what is happening with our gov't and where are dollars are going.

Tell the stories, let people decide.

No wonder Fox News ratings is by far ahead of MSNBC/CNN and Headline news.

C.N has removed this story from their C.N internet front page. I have tried and tried to get to the C.N/Politics front page to see the story, but for some reason it shows a blank page. Search results on A....n that hours ago showed many results now show only one or two. I suspect pretty soon we will not be able to find a story on it on C.N at all.
A question to you "lawyers" - Is C.N complicit in a racketeering felony?

I trained in with ACORN a long time ago -- back around 1994. I went door to door in the "ghetto" -- the "black" part of Minneapolis, the North Side. The low income members of ACORN were to pay, after a hour-hour sit down introduction meeting, 5 dollars a month automatically deducted from their account.

So the low-income members were already paying quite a bit of money -- for them TOO MUCH in my opinion -- so that they could be member-organizers themselves of ACORN, a sort of ponzi pyramid scheme of power.

Still ACORN members did do some excellent activism -- protesting the big corporate banks in town and some of their political connections.

I support ACORN -- entrapment is a serious issue in the underclass culture because it's a fine line between survival and being in jail.

Whenever the economy gets bad in the U.S. there's ALWAYS a spike in racism against the black underclass -- the economy is what leads to racism and the distribution is so skewed towards the elite right now that the middle class are

"kicking the dog."

Hence the elite right wing attack on ACORN with entrapment or "sting" operations to show how part-time under-educated desperately poor people handle a "hot" situation.

I'm not defending anyone -- there's a lot of scum out there but let's remember that WHAT FLOATS TO THE TOP.

Here's the REAL child prostitution tax evasion scandal:

www.youtube.com...

The Franklin Scandal -- led by a black Republican and his Republican elite cronies.

I'd say this is really a patriarchy issue -- but "sex black mail" is a common tactic used by operatives to control D.C. and in other countries as well, John Perkins discusses this Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.

BTW I'm not gonna watch this video but the comments were fascinating since I was able to know the context of the video and its overall content.

Well yes. And it would be true.

Acorn pays people peanuts to go out and get people registered. If they falsify voters -- it doesn't mean ANY of the fake voters can vote.

If you want to worry about a real impact on the election -- then let's throw out all the electronic voting. You do realize, that even though the Republicans put them in and it helped them win a lot more than they would have -- that NOW Democrats hold the purse strings.

If you see Diebold's vote fixing company get even more money from Dems -- then you are welcome to assume that they will get better results from Diebold.

Your worried about the wrong nonsense with Acorn. But it's a nice distraction from all the election fraud that is going on.
