The ningen is supposedly an underwater creature that is found in the arctic ocean, but mainly in Japan by fishermen(ningen translates to human in
Japanese.) The reports say that its around 20-30 meters in length. There are almost no pictures of the ningen but I found these.
There also a video but it looks very fake
www.youtube.com...
So what do you think about the ningen? I think that its probably not real, but still interesting none the less!

ZOMG THE NINGEN! I've heard about this. Isn't it supposed to be nice? So said some stories by people who say they've witnessed it ;P
Oh and by the way, 3 edits and still a mistake?
LAWLZ NEVERMIND.
I think I would love to see the Ningen someday, as long as it doesn't like tip over the boat

Oh I see, Well in the future do you plan on trying to find this creature?
Or do you just think it is rather interesting and you have no intent on trying to find it yourself? Hmmm?

Behold the “Ningen“. Meaning literally “Human“, it’s allegedly a very large unknown animal sighted by Japanese fishers, which bares an
uncanny resemblance to us. Not only a face, but other reports include even arms and hands.

Ummm.... like this...?
Fish With Human Faces- South Korea
Human-Faced Fish
Human Stingray
The Human Fish
No arms or legs but these look like they're other names for the same thing.
Keep it civil please, everyone's contributions are wonderful. No need to criticize research, even if it is repetitive.
Please, please keep it civil. College sucks, (why I haven't been on in a tad). I'd like to log on and not read catty comments in my favorite forum!

some people think the folklore of ningen comes from those type of fishes or stingrays but some believe they are larger than those fishes and look more
different.

I appoligze for that :\. But from my understanding this thing has arms and hands but that is the only resemblance to humans that I have heard of.
Those sting rays with the faces are pretty freaky!

It's okay. I'm just testy because I am having a hard time adjusting to/hate college.
The social stuff. Awful.
But yes, I automatically thought of those. Also because I googled images of "Ningen" and came up with one of those fish. Try for yourself. Not a
definite answer but a clue.
