S.C.'s BeReady.gov pamphlet now lists Econ Disaster Scenario

The "Be Ready" document for the State of South Carolina has included domestic and global economic collapse as scenarios to be prepared for, right up there with biological and/or nuclear attacks, flu pandemics and tornadoes.

A catastrophic event or combination
of events, such as pandemic
fl u, biological or nuclear attacks,
large-scale hurricanes, and / or
earthquakes could precipitate an
economic recession, depression or
even economic collapse.

More interesting is what the state says the results would be of such a scenario:

A full or near-full
economic collapse is often quickly
followed by months, years, or even
decades of economic depression,
social chaos, and civil unrest.

It is nice to know at least some one in the government is not only awake but willing to tell the truth. I just wish the Obamabots would open their eyes to reality. I rather be prepared and ready than be caught flat footed. It would be very nice to be pleasantly surprised in a couple of years but I do not think so...

I wonder... Argentina in 2001 experienced financial collapse complete with riots in the streets and a complete breakdown of order. South Carolina governor Mark Sanford's mistress is Argentinian.
