Fruits and vegetables are very inexpensive. So are rice, pasta, beans, chicken, turkey and pork. Water is cheap. What are you talking about? It's the junk food that's expensive.

Now you are telling other people what they should be eating to help keep your health care cost down.
After all you just really have other people's health and finances at heart right?

And why shouldn't I? If I'm paying $1000 a year for someone else's healthcare while paying nearly $1000 a MONTH for mine, I think I have a right to make some suggestions.

Not really. I don't care what they do as long as I don't have to pay for it. Sorry to blow your theory.

Why is it so hard for people to comprehend that the government is not the solution and more taxes are not the solution. We don't need bigger government. We don't need more regulation. More taxes. We need Government and busy bodies who promote it to get their noses out of our business.

On the one hand you say you don't care what other people do as long as you don't have to pay for it - and if you do have to pay for it you want to tell them how to live.
For whom does it need to be fixed. You?
If so do you really care about those that don't?
I don't have any insurance - can't afford it and I'm self employed.
But I'll take my freedom over government run health care any day. There must be a better way.

And when you get cancer, need surgery or have an accident, who's going to pay for your health care? If you have to have chemotherapy or treatment for several years, who gets the bill?
