Like you, I do EVP because I can, it's easy and cheap, and there's something there.

I got creeped out by some of the GIS stuff, and my initial involvement was to debunk them, but when I heard my first EVP on my kit, I nearly had a bowel movement, and got that hair on arm standing up sensation.

What does my head in is they never seem to be responding to me. For instance, I have a class A EVP, but I say 'can you here me?' ....... silence, 'what is your name?' ....... (male voice) "I'm down here".

As clear and as loud as my voice, but who the heck was he talking to?
I went back loads of times, but never 'heard' him again.

If I can get an obvious response to one of my questions, then I'll know it's for real.
