These children are just allowed to run amok, with no or little consequence,

There is a final judgment and we all will pay for all the bad things we've done and all the thoughts we've ignored.

the fact that all this exists before your scenes should tell you this. people need to wakeup, life isnt a joke... there is no 'just kidding' after we die.

We waste too much time and too much money trying to rehabilitate individuals like this with VERY LITTLE positive result. I say we just start taking offenders like this out back and shooting them, and maybe their worthless parents as well.

And yes.. if I had a child that did something like this.. I would AT LEAST disown them.

I tend to agree with the notion that parents should bear more responsibility for the actions of their children, but don't think that applies in a case like this. This kid has a psychological disorder. He either is psychopath, sociopath or has personality disorder. People who have kids like this one have very limited options. It is practically impossible to have a child committed and getting drugs to work effectively in children is very difficult as their physiology changes so rapidly.

It is awful, but there is nothing you can do with a kid like this other than lock him up for the rest of his life.

Has that been proven or is that just a theory?

No offense to some of the parents here. And you might know where your kids are.. but I can very well attest to a parents selective memory.

My mom swears that she always knew where I was but.. I can tell you, she didn't, sometimes my dad didn't either. Why? Because my parents were to controlling so I felt the need to lie to them to gain a sense of freedom.

Keep that in mind when monitoring your children, too over bearing and your kid wont WANT to tell you what's going on.

We are not an ignorant group

We were raised during a variously rebellious state. Which was preceded by a much more defiant generation.

I'm sorry we know about the rebellious youth!!!

We were them!!!

These are sick thoughts.

Strange that nobody thinks about all those subliminal messages on TV and advertising panels. What hidden messages you think ? If this concept is new I wander where you have been.
Remeber the animated movie Lion King where the words SEX appears in the water ? Or the billboard with a tower as a huge fallus in the background....
South Park, animated series where it's full of subliminal messages. The two montains with snow supposing to be breasts, subjects like rape telling that it is OK as long as..... IT'S NEVER OK !!! They even try to say that PAIN is OK !!! On the background instead of normal scratches onthe wall, I could clearly see the word PAIN. Is that normal for a kid or any human to watch at ? NO.
Kids are influenced, that's all, they can be indoctrinated so easely. (remeber Obama's indoctrination of children lately ?) They spend too much time before TV. Do not forget the internet, enough porn to look at for a kid with a computer in his bedroom.

The kid of 12 needs guidence, also the 9 y old kid.

We all need to stop watching those indoctrinating movies or series of every kind ! I really stopped watch!in that crap, it's has no value to my life. The simpsons, South Park and so much from Disney.

Many factors responsible for this including Sex education for 4 & 5 year olds.
And teaching about homosexuality too.
The parents of this younger generation are also a mixed up permissive bunch.
Rings in their belly button and hip high pants to expose it, and G string bathing suits.

Every prime time TV show has overt sex talk and acts too.
So how do these kids learn morality?

Its interesting as a life long nudist and knowing many other life long nudist i have never seen this happen with children raised in families where nudity was common.

Teen pregnancies, Teens becoming rapist or worse, Teens that abuse there spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend later as adults,
None of this happens to most people that were raised as nudist.

So where DO these kids that do these crimes learn there behavior.
Is it because they did not experience the same things that nudist children and they are exploring.

Its people that were raised where nudity is was taboo that seem to have these problems/behavior.

In the US there seam to be much more of this sexual anti social behavior then in Europe where nudity is much more normal.

Maybe some of the ATS members from Europe can explain it from a European perspective

I am from Belgium but I never went to such beaches. I do not think that they go with their children to other places in wintertime.
But when I a walking near by a nudist beach, I do not have a problem when I see them nude. It seems very natural to me.
Many people around me says that they don't have the guts to do that but do not condemn that as crazy.

A little more info on this link:

Apparently he has had prior charges involving girls and excessive cruelty to animals.

This all paints a picture of a boy with serious problems. Tests are being conducted before sentencing.

I hope he gets the treatment he needs for his underlying problems. Just keeping him locked up with other delinquents will only ensure that he comes out worse than he went in.

In that case all of society would be the loser.

With nothing more than a small snippet it is impossible to surmise the psychological revelations regarding this case. We know nothing about the back ground of the situation between he and the little girl, we know nothing about the psychological profile of the little boy.

Yes I said little boy because where i come from 11 and 12 still means Saturday morning cartoon, baseball and getting to know ones own sex and thinking girls carry cooties.

Is it possible that we are setting up the judicial system to accept little boys into the evil custody of other wise grown men's company where they become the next wave of victims in an already hellish environment of rape and psychological terror?

Was this little boy himself the victim of rape and hence crying out for help in the only manner his underdeveloped mind cried out for? We just dont know, and I for one refuse to pick up the pitch fork and torch to sacrifice another lost youth without full knowledge of the circumstances surrounding this very tragic case.

I admit I have only read the OP and followed the link provided, but that is my opinion at this point.

Now we have a bit more to go on however it is still circumstantial, we dont know the whole story but I will stick by my first impression and say that the child is more than likely imitating and acting out very deep response to what he himself has endured from past trauma.

If something like this happens in Africa, they turn their heads because it has happened so often it is no longer a shock, when we start to see the once power elite countries fall into the pits of hunger and jobless despair these things will again begin to affect the most vulnerable of our society, the children. It was not so long ago that children were used and abused by the twisted and mentally bankrupt. Beaten and abused, this is societies fault, not the child and not necessarily the parents.

This child needs not to be punished but studied.

I'd like to kick that punk kid right in his teeth and listen to em scatter across the floor like a dropped bottle of tic-tacs. Let's see how horny he feels without the ability to speak or eat properly.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Cheers for that wayno, I was about to sit and look for more info myself, saved me a job, lol.

This just shows how screwed up the kid is, 2 girls and then the boy? The bit that made me laugh was:

The court considered him a danger to others, but he was too young – 11 at the time – to be kept in custody.

Permission was sought from the Secretary of State for him to be kept under lock and key until yesterday's youth court trial at Newcastle Crown Court.

I mean come on, age in this matter should not matter, why seek permission? what if the Secretary of state had said no, he's too young to lock up. How many more could he have raped before trial, how many more animals would he have tortured? The kid wants locked up until he is at least say 21 - 25 given psychological help and then only released if he can positively deemed safe to society.

Of course, I know all about that. I was just pointing out, that trust should be mutual. Not all my friends parents were as over bearing as my mother was.

It's just several times when talking to my parents I'll often find that.. they seem to forget that they were young, and it does take some reminding.

Wow, I have to say, that's almost exactly like the Law and Order episode I saw.

Boy is found to be raped by another boy. Then several girls are found to be assaulted as well. They were all afraid of him, so they were too afraid to come forward.

I worry about situations like these, but I think there might just be something wrong with their minds. I think Ivan the Red had been noted that he first raped a girl when he was 12 or 13 years old.

The whole story just seems a little not believable. The last news story seemed to be full of inconsistent information, i.e. the parents agreed to testing, but the court decided he was too young to stay in custody, but the Sec of State was asked to have the boy under lock and key. Three girls came forward, but there were five more sex offences to be tried and a sentence for the animal cruelty.

Sorry, this story just doesn't pan out to me, although, I guess it could be true, I don't believe this one is.

What isn't to be believed.

Many sexual predators start their careers around 12 years old.

posted on Sep, 15 2009 @ 04:02 AM
Just weak information, practically no information in the first snippet and then contradicting information in the second news clip. There was no mention of the boys mental capacity or intelligence (as in retardation) or any background on family or school issues.

Maybe the journalism is just not credible as far as believable facts, at least for me. In the US, when illegal things happen, the news media gets all the dirty facts and character history, and creates an article that lasts for weeks.

Like I said, I am sure this type of thing happens but I "think "this particular story is bunk, and it is merely my opinion. Everyone has one.

I couldn't dare to say who is at fault when these things happen. There are genetic and environmental factors that play into a persons personality. When a child is not getting the necessary parenting, they tend to go wild and do just what they want. There is little discipline in schools these days and some kids will go the distance if they can.

If this particular story is true, how do you rehabilitate a person of that age with the problems he has. I do not believe that any rehabilitation is going to happen in prison, so where do you keep people that need psychological or psychiatric evaluation?

Didn't mean to offend anyone with my two cents, it was just two cents.

Agreed... they simply do not allow children to be children anymore

For years we heard that violence in the media was a negative but violence has no natural reward in terms of pleasure, there are always negative consequences

SEX however is a reward based action, it is cool, kids want and naturally desire to emulate it.

It is terrible that while we attack stupid video games and ridiculous slasher films sex is bombarded on our children in such unhealthy ways...

When I was a child that age, I would cringe when Mr Brady kissed Mrs Brady...

Yeah, agreed 100% I was way too busy being a kid to even think about sex until HS... Today the Girls on Disney date and dress like grown women and talk that way too... there are no "kids" on Tv imitation adults with complex dating lives in Public school... a completely real negative impact
