Although there have been many stories appearing in the last week about these battles in Pakistan...I ignored them until now because I didn't think it
would evolve into what it is....a major military operation to permanently remove Islamic extremist militant activity from this vital point along the
road from Islamabad and Kabul.
Pakistan is claiming to have destroyed several militant strongholds and killing many fighters over the last week, but this is unfolding into what can
only be considered the decision to end any hope the rulers of Waziristan had with regards to forming a militant paradise using the lawful and
honorable nations of Pakistan and Afghanistan as cover.
