I am really sick of Muslim apologists who have twisted and turned everything round so that it is all our fault.

That the whole truth about 9/11 and possibly 7/7 has not come out I am absolutely certain, but, and it is a massive but, at the end of the day, Muslims flew planes into the twin towers.
They were willing to kill innocent women and children.
Just as suicide bombers have killed people in The UK, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bali, Turkey, Spain.....good grief the list is endless.
What is the common denominator?
Muslims who have been brainwashed into believing their reward is after they die and for the good of Allah and advancement of Islam it is right and proper that they kill themselves in the process of killing complete and utter innocent people.
All of these have not been 'conspiracies' and 'false flags'!
FFS wake up.

But that isn't really the point here.

It is about how the PC dominated MSM are portrsying EDL as mindless, racist bigots and that my friend is a downright lie perpetrated by TPTB.

I think you will find it was Christians who were the driving force behind the abolitionist movement.

Oh, and by the way, I am an avowed Agnostic and no supporter of the Christian faith either, but facts are facts my friend!

The same person who tells me to stop reading the daily mail, comes out with the times.

Lets look at this shall we?

"Anti-Islam demonstrators"
WRONG we are NOT anti islam.
We are protesting against MILITANT ISLAM.

The first sentence is meant to get people geared up against the EDL.

Look I've made my point. I believe the EDL are bad news and are in no way helping the situation. my opinion is that it also looks like a closet racist organisation. This is only my opinion. We will have to wait and see how successful the EDL are. maybe they will be the cure for militant islam. If so you can say "I told you so" until that point, I'm gonna stick with my opinion of them.

Will you be joining the demonstrations at Mosques in London on September 11th?

I can't get to london that day, as i work a night shift at royal mail and will be too tired.

We are supporting March for England on this Demonstration.

Hezbollah, yes the Muslim Terrorist organisation, and its supporters are due to be staging a March through Central London this coming Sunday 13th Sept.

NO racism.

The muslims response was violent, they were not being enticed into violence either.

I think ELD aim is to show that its not going to be taken anymore, stop doing what your doing we dont want it here.

it might to improve relations but it is making people aware.

It isn't making people aware, it's making people ignorant. It massively simplifies a horrifically complex issue and suggests a massively blinkered response will sort it out. It does so without mandate or reasoned thought, and claims to represent those who seek to battle extremism across the UK, when it doesn't.

What do you think we the people should do?
Sit down and have a long nice talk over tea and scones.
It's not going happen.

We invited them into our home country, they dont respect that at all.

How would you feel if you invited someone into your house, only to have them insult you?

well this is where we disagree, i think it makes people aware which then leads them to themselves thinking about why these protest are actually happening.

I watched the video and all I saw was a bunch of pissed up England fans. Are these the people you want to affiliate yourselves with.

Unite Against Fascism is extremely authoritarian and undemocratic in its tactics. A pointless far left group, who believe in restricting freedom of speech and failing to denounce Islamic extremists. The Socialist Workers Party was declared "sectarian" by Left List during the London Elections - SWP are anti-Semitic and built on hate.

Who do you think was behind the violence outside the Israeli Embassy? Certainly wasn't Muslim groups.

English Defense League is not far right neither, I know citizens of African decent who are associated to the group.

Please watch the vid's posted here.
EDL and Casuals United were not allowed to follow the previously agreed route.
UAF and the militant Muslims were allowed to counter protest despite not following the correct legal procedure. (EDL had been denied the right to counter protest UAF marches previously, one law for them again!).
UAF and their supporters are clearly shown breaking through the Police line and attacking EDL despite little or no provocation.
The EDL were blamed by MSM???

This is complete and utter bollocks!

Blah, Blah, Blah.

Your post is full of inaccuracies

You state that there were people lined up and down the streets shouting abuses at people who risked their lives? You're wrong, there was a group of radicals, eight or ten of them at most.

You claim that you are fighting terrorism and preaching. How is a statement like "no more mosques" combating terrorism? How is fighting in the streets combating terrorism? YOU'RE ADDING TO IT!

Where is this Sharia law? You all seem so scared of it yet I see no evidence to base any of your fears on.

To combat terrorism you have to have evidence of intent, your group of highly intelligent people (sarcasm) seem to think that dark skin, a religious belief and a presence in the UK is evidence of that. Well, it's not.

You are not combating religious extremism, you are a warped version of the BNP. You believe the BS tabloids, you think every dark skinned Muslim person is a potential terrorist (excuse to get rid, right?) and you are doing nothing but perpetuating fear and terror amongst the British people.

To put it simply, I fear people like you FAR, FAR, FAR more than any Muslim.

posted on Sep, 8 2009 @ 07:58 AM
I think the EDL will continue to grow as long as they stay politically neutral, avoid racism and distance themselves from the BNP.

Sadly the MSM likes to associate anyone protesting against militant Islam as far right nationalists. Because these days we are not 'allowed' to speak out against Islam are we?

I've been thinking about this for the last couple of days and the only way the EDL will work is if it proves to the people of the Uk that they aren't like Nick Griffins shower of bastards.

So far it seems the EDL contains people from all walks of life, people of all creeds and beliefs and with only one main agenda. Get England back from the soft arse politicians who shaft us with their nanny state tactics, the introduction of thought crime and taking our rights away from protesting against those who hate our country.

I'll keep an open mind about the EDL as long as they stay clever and wise. As long as they don't fall into the media circus trap and as long as they don't get cut by the double edged sword of racism.

Oh for goodness sake, read your OWN POST AGAIN.

You just showed EXACTLY why the EDL is being painted as such, THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE!

Are people so brain dead that they can't even read their own words and see what they are saying?

The ignorance in this thread is truly astounding.

1) I would question whether the Muslims you refer to are representative

2) I would strongly suggest that you are being fed an unbalanced diet of media.

3) The UK has done, and continues to march all over other countries in an empirical manner. As have many other countries. We have treated citizens of other countries, religions and cultures with absolute and utter disdain.

4) Since the days of the British Empire we had an agreement for example with India to allow entry of Indians to the UK. In the 1950's and onwards Indians contributed to rebuilding the backbone of the country - and helped to build a nation of shopkeepers.
4.1) A few generations later many Indians, Pakistani's etc have a good secondary education, in many cases a higher degree or technical degree and contribute to society in a very positive manner.

5) Show me a rabid muslim in the UK and I can show you a rabid Christian - show me a rabid Indian in the UK and I can show you a rabid Englishman. Get it?

6) I dont deny that there is an immigration/integration problem in the UK - most countries have an immigration/integration problem of somekind. In order for Germany for example to maintain its economic status and growth, 50,000 new immigrants are required every year. In this case the predominant immigrant has always been the Turks.

7) I dont doubt either that there is fervour and torment within these "Muslim" groups and that this is being exacerbated now more than ever by rabid fundamentalists on both sides. Its no wonder really given the crusade like aggression (at times warranted, but most often not) we have unleashed upon Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Libya in the last 50 years alone.

Given all the energy you have and the passion for your country, why dont you sign up with a group that works towards integration for the good of all, instead of tearing the country apart with a divide and conquer mentality?

What advice would you give your young kids on this situation if you had any?
Bearing in mind you would ideally have the moral obligation/courage to get past your own ego, stop strutting and beating your chestplate with a sword and consider for a moment - and then give your kids words of advice that will set them on the best path possible in life?

Again I repeat - you can only sit down and work towards integration with people who are willing to integrate - the extremists are not ALL Muslims as has been clarified before - this discussion is about some that believe that all who oppose, "cause mischief", disrespect, don't believe in Allah deserve to be beheaded and it is THEIR HONOR to do so. You can't deal with those belief sets from outside - it has to be from their own within and that's not happening at all.

They are becoming very entrenched and have a very intentional plan - to cause Armegeddon in the name of Allah and all those who oppose should die, period.

As a previous video posted said, "You can believe in stones, just don't throw them at me."

They're not keeping it at home or in their mosques - they're making it a problem for other people because they are VERY intimidating and brainwashed far beyond my comprehension. Kind of like asking why they killed off all the women and children during the witch hunts - stupid logic but nonetheless it won out - all the OP and others are saying is watch out - these guys are posing yet a new threat to our safety and freedoms.

The PTB aren't going to do anything about it - it has to be done on a people level. The PTB don't care - actually probably even like the idea of extremists causing more problems, makes us look away from what other fronts are up to.

ps - these aren't conjectures or gotten from hyped media articles - they're personal experiences in the western world.

Give me a break.

A weekend in Hackney is not enough to see what is going on here. A weekend in any place is barely even going to allow you to scratch the surface.

Try living in these areas.

(This is where he claims he lives in Bradford or something to try to make a point).

get down there, don't forget your T shirt with what division your from.

So... it looks like my visions i had back in 2002 of a mass coming together of Muslims verses the British people... hmmm.... I predicted a mass brawl back then in London and going by this Article it is happening... maybe a mass brawl will not occur but i'm hedging my bets that something will.... i wonder what the outcome will be?

This is going to be a day to watch the News too...

Again, you state that this is not abaou Muslim beliefs specifically, then you use that as the oly example.

What you describe is a MINORITY of extremists, not the majority.

You are doing to Muslims exactly what you claim the British media are doing to you. Your stereotype examples of a Muslim extremist no doubt exist (primarily in the minds of the Sun and Daily Mail reporters I might add) but you are suggesting that all are the same, and that, therefore, you are justified in this race war (and that is exactly hat you are perpetuating).

You suggest that people don't sit down and talk things out, well, I hate to break it to you, but just because you are not invited to those meetings doesn't mean they are not happening.

My company is actively involved in a program in our area whereby we communicate with immigrant and minority groups to exchange cultural information.
What you claim "isn't possible" is happening up and down the country, there is a dialogue, and it's being facilitated by INTELLIGENT PEOPLE rather than by violent mobs with low intellect and racist attitudes.

You are fuelling a fire that was built by the same PTB you critisize. They created the war, and you are now fighting it having swallowed their propaganda.

Most of all, while you all proclaim to not be racist, your posts are in direct conflict with this sentiment.
You cannot have it both ways.

If you don't want people to see you as racist thugs, stop repeating the tabloid BS about Muslim extremists (what, do they carry signs now so you can identify them?). You guys are all crying about being labelled as racists, then you insist on focusing solely on the "Muslim terrorists", a person that is hidden, unknown.
You are not attacking any terrorist or combating the ideology of these terrorists, you are attacking an entire cultural group. THAT is the clear indicator of racist agenda/ideology here.
