ATS Chat login problem ...is it just me ?

Well I was in chat early today and it worked fine.
Now when I try to login, I get A pop-up notification of an unknown error.

Yes I dumped my cache.
Yes I tried different browsers.

Is anyone else having this problem ?

Yea, we are discussing this in the issues thread. I wish the chat was working..lol.. Bummer, I hope it comes back soon and doesn't go MIA like Mutter.

I just tried it, TUP. Unknown error when I try to log in, and all rooms are showing as empty.

Go out and try to talk to real people?

lol, I just cleared cache, deleted cookies, did a hand stand, reinstall flash, and nothing. I suppose we will have to wait until the gods of ATS perform a miracle.

Because there's bound to be rumors, allegations, disinformation, witch-hunts, and repercussions ...

Let me just say right here and now that this is not the work of "the mutters people's front."

We would never sabotage chat, why that would be just silly.

On topic: As I mentioned on the issues thread, I was getting a "Group name error, connection failed!" message a couple of hours ago. Perhaps that is relevant to whomever is trying to identify the cause.

I've always had issues with chat at various times since 2005.

I usually just use my IM's and if someone I know from ATS wants to talk there that's fine.

As well as that you can invite multiple people there.

Instant Messenger is fine by me, but not everyone has them.

I've been using skype.
I created an account just for ATS.
It's on my profile for all to see.
I suggest to people to make an account just for ATS, it's just another way to communicate.

Personally I don't use the cam. rarely use voice. It a great way to have a nice chat with more than one person at a time.

I'm sure ATS chat will be up and running soon SKL.

Edit To add: well I guess I should use the u2u system a little more as well but I find it limited. I haven't heard from you in a while. I guess I'll u2u then.

TUP!!!! Yes! I havent been able to log into chat for months! I click on it and nothing happens. I tried on Firefox and Safari and did everything else I thought might work and still nothing....

I thought it was just because my connection really REALLY sucks. Good to know it's not just me. However I do still blame AT&T...any time is the right time to blame them for something.

Just got the same error, here's a screen shot. I removed the title of one of my tabs btw so not to advertise.

I didnt even know there was chat available and now that I do its not working!!!
