Gotcha, Silo. I'll nevertheless assume the two times you delt with what you percieved as "evil", had to do with the supernatural. That is
what I was talking about in my previous post. It's the same mechanism. You are confronted with a situation you don't understand, and instinct tells
you that you are in danger (and maybe your instinct is right). Since you can't identify the danger, your brain, (with it's western cultural
patterns) label it as "evil" (judeo-christianism). Sorry if this is off topic.
Not off topic at all.
This is the kind of meat and potatoes I was hoping for.
Said well, succinctly, and with respect for others.
Is evil necessarily *supernatural*?
I can’t say for sure, but in my opinion it can be both super natural and non.
The times I've encountered evil (my definition) - well - it isn’t something you have to have someone label for you.
When you experience it for the first time - you know. You just know.
And it isn’t something you can mistake the second time.
It isn’t something you ever forget.
So, in my opinion, and using my definition, it’s evil.
But, everything I just said ties into your theory too!
Will be interesting to find out the intent of the video - if we ever do.
I’ve still go emails waiting to be answered from Fader Creep.
Thanks again for a great post.
