How is life possible at all?

Here are two possible answers i've found.

1) Does our galaxy swarm with life because matter has a tendancy to form more and more complex structures whose properties include the potential to modify and reproduce themselves? or

2) Does the simplest creature on earth embody a chain of causes each so unlikely that it enables us to predict that one small solar system born less than 5 billion years ago would harbor life in pattern of our earth?

life is just a matter of chemical processes !

take just a small planet with a nearby sun and add a comet on that rocky dry surface !

that is the startingpoint of what most understand to be life in the early stadium.

in the universe there is certainly also some life that we do not can see as life or just have not the brain development to understand it as life.

but intelligent life takes alot of ingredients.

Take a look at this chart:

pages.infinit.net...

It seems to have taken earth ~5 billion years to produce our apelike ancestors.

Would we be here if any of earth's conditions were different during this time?

Are we really an evolution or did something happen in the last 5 million years to make us what we are today?

the succes of life forming depends mainly on how much good ingredients are in the soup the universum vacuumcleaner c o m e t collected before crashing on a planet and ofcourse the other factors are on the situation of the surrounding light/heat sources like a sun.

the proces of life forming on this planet earth is not in a straight line because processes were interupted by for example falling meteors whom destroyed a large part of already formed life forms different times in the past...
only surviving lifeforms continued to adapt again and again all over dependable from different disturbing factors like changes in climate,altitude,u.v. rays....
