Like a grain of sand on an endless beach
or a star in an infinite universe
I sparkle and shine ...a light... I dance
only wishing to be noticed
do I have a voice
it seems as if I am silenced
against my will
blocked out by the noise of life
or perhaps you do not wish to listen
I feel as if I am drowning
I am under water
the cool darkness envelopes me
I want to breathe
I want to scream
I tread the surface
kicking...searching for a place
a solid place to put my feet
waiting for the tide to turn
Broken against the cold stones
I find the shore
again finding my place among the sand
A gust of wind lifts me
upward I travel
I realize it matters not
a star or a grain of sand
I am silenced
when will you hear me
I am screaming

Very lovely poem Greenize. It speaks to me personally about how you can often times feel invisible in a crowd or even amongst your own friends
sometimes. Those times when you feel like no one is listening to you.

That was very beautiful. I can empathize completely. I like the one grain of sand analogy mucho.
Now, in my case, and I believe for many others; when looking at a beach that continues on, and on, besides thinking my gawd my feet are gonna burn
walking it, there is the notice of the grains that glimmer.
Now for me personally the grains that glimmer catch my eye, and keep me mesmerized for long periods of time.
Don't ever feel Your alone, and People aren't looking; I for one, am looking
