Daughter's ex-fiancee says Palin wanted to cover up his girlfriend's pregnancy

rawstory.com

In the next edition of Vanity Fair, the former fiancee of Palin’s daughter, Bristol, will level new accusations against onetime Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin — positing that Palin even told her daughter that she’d adopt her baby to cover the fact that she was going to have a child out of wedlock.

Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin’s ex-fiancee, has become a media darling at the fashion and glitterati magazine, having previously been photographed for spreads. His comments have sparked renewed focus on the strain of the vice presidential campaign on the

Poor ex gov. Sarah Palin! I wonder if she thought this blockbuster information would remain secret? I have never in my life bought an issue of "Vanity fair" but Sarah Palin has become an American Icon much more than Jacko ever hoped to be. May he RIP. I'm buying this one.

Apparently the article will have some more interesting tidbits from the Palin house hold. However Levi could have an ax to grind with the Palin clan and that should be taken into consideration.

I Love American Politics!

I think a lot of this has to do with him being vindictive and trying to make money off of all of it. He is getting his 10 minutes of fame and is running with it.

That certainly is a possibility but do you think he is telling the truth?

Knowing what we have learned in the past about ex Gov. Palin and her unbridled ambition; I wouldn't be surprised.

At least ex. Gov. Palin will remain in the spotlight and like they say; "there is no such thing as bad publicity"

May be so... Ah, but true is true -

Likely Palin did not want people to view her as a bad mom who couldn't not control
her daughters get up and go.

Fine by me personally, but she does not align with people like me.

She is a good patriotical and at least she is not a socialister like Lord Obama!

A quote from the "Vanity Fair" article...

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Levi Johnston tells editors at Vanity Fair about the off-camera life of the woman who almost became vice president, revealing that the Palin family’s home life was very different from what was presented in the mainstream media. “Even before she was nominated,” Johnston writes, “there wasn’t much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn’t cook, Todd doesn’t cook—the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school. Most of the time Bristol would help her youngest sister with her homework, and I’d barbecue chicken or steak on the grill.”

I never thought I'd be defending ex. Gov. Palin but that above quote doesn't ring true. Don't state Governors have servants to do the cooking and cleaning?
Even in Alaska?

I've never been a supporter of the Palin clan, but I think this one is just pure BS. The man has a grudge and he's getting paid alot of money to spin crap about her on the talkshow circuits and what not.

Poor Palin, I actually feel bad for her. Can't they just all go on Maury and deal with this like normal people?

Blah. Maybe its true, maybe it isn't, but he's the ~20 year old ex boyfriend of her daughter and I would hesitate to consider him to be a reliable witness. Breakups often being messy affairs, this guy may just have an axe to grind against the Palin family.

I don't care, in any way, shape or form, about Palin. She's an idiot who I wouldn't trust to run a 7/11 let alone a state or anything higher up.

Why can't she just go away? Why do people care at all about her? She's as dumb as a sack of rocks and why people give her any press is beyond me.

I'm sure Palin wanted to cover up the pregnancy at first. I can see her thought process now...

"My daughter is pregnant? We can't let anyone know. They'll be awful if they know my preaching of abstinence-only education and anti-abortion policies is overridden by my pregnant teenage daughter. I should probably have put her on the pill but birth control is so against my beliefs..."

In other news, my best friend is my age (18) and her due date is today. Come onnnnn baby!

I do know how you feel and I do sympathize but in American culture when people become parodies of themselves the press gloms on like flies on effluent. Think of Paris Hilton, Lindsy Lowhand, and the other "personalities" that crave attention. Ex Gov. Palin will not go quietly as long as she can make a nice living giving speeches to her conservative devotees.

Gee, I wonder wen the media will take a similar interest in the peope running our government. Instead, they seek to destroy anyone who opposes them or their great leader. Then you have all the lemmings that eat it up and spew their vitriolic, unfounded hatred in these and other forums.

I also gotta laugh at all the people on these forums talking about how "stupid" she is. Yet she's been a Mayor, a Governor and a national political figure. What the ell gives you such a high mantle to wag your finger from? Oh thats right, the propaganda media that indoctrinated you.

I do not find him to be credible at all. The poor boy is trying to start his acting and modeling career and needs to keep his name in the limelight. He is a media attention seeker and his credibility is zero. IMO.

I love how people believe him - and it is only because he has negative things to say about Palin. However, I bet if he had lots of positive things, he would be ignored and be a nobody in small town Alaska!

He's also said he's pursuing a career as an actor or model.

Good for Palin's daughter for dumping him.

W. for a little clarification; do you consider Rush, Savage, Coulter, Sean, Beck and the other conservative spokesman as part of the media. Who are they seeking to destroy?

Don't let ideology get in the way of common sense.

Up until a few weeks ago she was Governor of Alaska.

Hence she was one of "the people running our government"

If that been a story written by someone who shares your ideology, you would have been all over it like white on rice.

Since it's someone from the "opposite" side, it's a terrible low blow, and totally unsubstantiated.

Cry me a river

None of these people are journalist. Every single one of them are self described commentators. I'm talking about whats supposed to be the 4th branch of government. IF you think its ok to have entertainers and commentators do the journalism, then thats fine, but its incredibly disturbing.

With high approval ratings. Yet, the MSM has spent the last 6 months doing their best to destroy her. They ignore John Edwards affair to save his campaign and refuse to take a critical look at this administration, but they'll smear and attack a FORMER governor simply because shes a prominent Republican.

The MSM does it to EVERY prominent right wing voice. At what point do they start holding the Democrats in control of government to account? They've been in control of congress since 2006!

www.reuters.com...

Looking at Congress as a whole, their numbers continue to move downward. In May,
they were at a high with 31% giving Congress positive ratings, but in June this
dropped to 25% positive and currently just 22% give them positive ratings while
almost four in five Americans (78%) give them negative ones. The rating of
individual parties and leaders in Congress are not any better:

Where is the NYT front page stories and nightly Chris Mathews ranting? Instead, they spend their time demonizing Americans as racist for disagreeing with this government.
